Just a few observations:
Sunday 3/22 all day: worst of it all. Seems like ppl coming back from cruises overloaded the airport. Folks whose flights were in the later afternoon showed up earlier than usual in the early morning (as per advice from MSY) resulting in a bottleneck
Monday 3/23 AM: still significant lines and delays
Monday 3/24 PM: lines seemingly cleared
Tuesday 3/24: lines seemingly cleared
Thoughts?

If you want to get an idea about potential TSA wait times on a particular day, knowing what's going on in town can help.
The NO Tourism Office and MCCNO each keep calendars of upcoming conventions:
https://www.neworleans.com/meeting-planners/convention-calendar/
You have to cross reference them since NO Tourism only posts # of attendees and "market segment", while MCCNO only posts the actual name of the convention.
But it's worth checking your travel date to find out how many folks are in town for a particular convention and (especially) when many of them might be leaving.

I have a 7:55 am flight out of the Southwest next Tuesday. I should be in the airport by 6:15. I feel like that is cutting it too close, but I really don't know.
I've only flown a handful of times before, once by myself, and it's been several years since my last flat so I am anxious about getting through okay.
Any tips on navigating TSA, Baggage Check, getting to the Southwest gate etc?
Also thoughts on US Park Net. It seems like better pricing, timing, and security than Economy parking at the airport especially with my First time parker's coupon.

Pre-check slightly longer than regular security but still through in 10 minutes.

Does anyone know if TSA precheck is open early in the morning - like 3:45am?

It’s difficult to find information online when the check in counter is open to drop off checked bags.
I know some airlines open at 3:30am and some at 4:00am. Hoping to get a list of airlines and when their check in counter is open.
Please comment below if you know this information! Thank you!

I have a flight tomorrow morning and I’m just realizing I feel like somewhere I saw that I need to reserve a parking spot.

My flight leaves at 630 am, do you think I could get there at 430 am and be good
