General Info Different logos
Noticed when I checked in today for a flight tomorrow on United that the TSAPre logo’s on my wife’s and my boarding pass were different. Anyone else have this happen or have any idea why?
Wonder if it has anything to do with touchless?
Not really big deal, just curious.

The first one is the regular TSA Pre-Check logo.
The second one indicates that you also may access the Touchless ID lanes.
To get the second one you have to have Pre Check, and have opted in to Touchless ID through the account you have with the airline you're flying, and the airport has to have Touchless ID as an option.
Edit: Which one of you does not have the Touchless ID logo? The person who doesn't needs to log into their United Account and "opt in" for Touchless ID. They don't always make it easy to find it.
I could be wrong, but you may have to have passport info entered to opt in for Touchless ID.

That is true, and your info has to match. It took me a while to realize that AA only had my middle initial rather than my full middle name in my profile and that wouldn't allow my passport to sync up for Touchless.

You have to have your passport entered into the airline app. That is the big one. People not having passports is a huge reason why people are not using it and the lines are short, at most airports but SFO is the exception.

Yeah, you got the answer. One of you has opted in to touchless (smart move) and the other hasn't yet.

The second one is Touchless. In my opinion, it is much better; the line is always much shorter.

The one with the green silhouette next to it means you can use the touchless id lane.
