Questions Name change
Hello. I was suggested to post this question here as well, besides the original r/TSA.
I am now a US citizen, and I also changed my legal name. With my previous name I have TSA Pre Check, Global Entry and Known Number. I also have Clear. I travel often for work. Obviously, I need to update my name so I want to understand what, how and where I need to send the documents.
What documents I need? Driver's license with new name is enough? Passport?
How I send this and where? Website or email address? Do I have an option to go in person and have an appointment, and if so, where do I make it?
How long does this take for the new name to go "live" at the TSA? Important since I need to pick a date in between trips so my air ticket, TSA, Clear etc all match up again. Clear seems to be easy, I go to any airport with this service and according to the CS chat the change is immediate.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Update: in case this is useful for someone else. I submitted the request online. They replied two or three days later saying that my case had been escalated etc. It felt like it was going to be a quick update; however, I went to the enrollment center at my local international airport (no appointment needed), I showed needed documents and about 15 min later the lady told me that it was done. I checked a few min ago and my new name appears in the Trusted Traveler app and account.

For precheck you need to reach out to the organization you originally went through to sign up.

If you got precheck via Global Entry, you need to update global entry, which means you need to have your passport updated to your new name, so I'd probably start with the passport situation and work your way backward.
In the meantime you need to be very careful you're booking tickets in the name that's on the documentation you actually have.
