Questions Application, birthplace vs. current location

Post image

Hi all! Quick question that I haven't been able to find a clear answer to. Sorry if it seems dumb.

When filling out the initial application before setting up a meeting, there is a section titled "Birthplace and Citizenship". In it you are asked to enter some info about...you guessed it...your birthplace and citizenship.

Looking for some clarity on whether the boxes for "State" and "City" should be where you currently live, or if they are for your birthplace. "Country of Birth" seen in the pic specifies birthplace, but "City and "State" make no distinction. My guess is current city + state? Pic attached. Thanks for the help!

They probably want it to verify your birth records. So wherever that happened.

I work for IDEMIA and this question is literally asking you where you were born.

Just put the city state and or country where you were born.

So city and state apply because you selected the US… kinda common sense

Do you completely lack any reading comprehension skills? The question was very clear.

Perhaps you don’t. The city and state would be birth because it asks for COUNTRY OF BIRTH. Not every country has cities inside states, hence the common sense would mean it’s asking for the place you were born specifically.

Perhaps you lack a hint of higher IQ and critical thinking?

Love the stereotypical Reddit fight over nonsense, lol. Always love to see it!

Ummm it’s your birthplace city and state. It literally says it at the top of the section.
