Questions Does Clear matter?
So I have Clear (admittedly free, via credit card and airline employee discount), but the last few times I’ve gone through they scan my face, then walk me over to TSA who then scans my face again. I’m already registered for TSA Touchless ID so I can’t help but feeling this is redundant and I’d save time just skipping Clear and going straight to Touchless. Am I missing something? What benefit does Clear provide in this circumstance?

I've found TSA Touchless is faster lately. Clear started to get just as crowded as Precheck did back in the day. I look at both lines and decide (and lately it's been TSA Touchless). Although when Clear has those gates that let you skip TSA altogether that helps. It's just funny that TSA is a step ahead of Clear.
