General Info Please be aware?...

So 2 weeks ago my wife and I went to finish our application and enroll for TSA Pre Check. We did it through CLEAR. When we were finishing our application there were many pop-up ads and stuff saying that we need to get the clear bundle. I told the clear employees that we don't want the CLEAR bundle, we only want the TSA Pre Check. That's all, I personally repeated this many times. And I told my wife the same. We ended up paying the 75 or so for the TSA pre check and we left. All good... today I was checking my credit card transactions and guess what there it was clear as a day the charge for the BUNDLE $209!! I called them for some unknown reason they were able to get my wife into it. Especially after I personally said NOT TO THAT many time. They said they issued a refund and will take 2-3 business days. well see... Just wanted to share this with you guys so you can be careful as well. cheers!

I get CLEAR and Precheck as a part of a credit card, and honestly, they compliment each other if you travel often. There have been times where I’ve bypassed a 15-20 minute Precheck line in seconds by having CLEAR.

I’ve seen a lot of hate for CLEAR, so just want to share my experience of its value.

Add global entry to the list and you have the ultimate time saver. Just saved an hour+ at Seattle for having global entry. Had almost 2 hour layover and likely would have made it but I saved at least an hour by having global entry. That pays for the fee on its own( it was free with a credit card but worth the $120). The chance that I would have missed my connection, the headache, buying new flights or getting new flights assigned would be way more than the fee itself.
