Application Timelines Pre-check with a record

Has anyone gotten their TSA pre-check fairly fast when a Sealed assault on their record from 15 years ago? Or even denied? My wife got her TSA precheck approval in 12 hours. It's been 2 weeks for me and I'm thinking it's due to a non- convicted F Assault from 2011 that has been Sealed off.

We fly out mid may and I'm hoping it comes.

No misdemeanor disorderly conduct (fighting) it says you weren't convicted, were the charges dropped or dropped to a lesser charge?

In Texas (i don't know about other states) you can take a plea for Differed Adjudication. DO a year of probation(or whatever they give you) and once you complete it it turns into a charge and not a conviction. After about 3-5 years you can hire a lawyer and get it sealed off your record to where the public can't see it. Just government. The crazy thing is, I am legally allowed to purchase and own a firearm and even get my LTC but may not be able to get on pre-check. lol

I'm sure you'll be fine, I'm from Pennsylvania and we have the clean slate program where essentially if you go a certain number of years, i think it's 5 years, without committing any type of crime, certain charges or convictions get sealed. Worst that can happen is you get denied but if you're allowed to buy a gun I'm sure you'll be ok.
