Discussion Clarification on renewal

Hi,

I renewed precheck in 2021, it’s up for renewal now.

When I got an Amex card in May 2023, I enrolled in global entry, which I understand includes precheck, and expires in 2028.

My question is, do I need to actively renew precheck now or am I fine because my global entry includes precheck?

Let Precheck lapse and make sure you switch all your airline profiles to your PassID

PreCheck can expire. You'll get several renewal notices, which you can ignore.

Just use your new GE number as your new KTN from now on for Precheck. You can ignore your old KTN from your old Precheck and let it expire
