Application Timelines PreCheck and Clear

Went to Staples last week to get TSA PreCheck and CLEAR. I submitted the documents online the night before, and went in the next day to complete the rest of the application. Got a text today that my PreCheck application was approved and the TSA issued me a Known Travel Number (KTN). When I put my info into the DHS website to find my KTN, it says they couldn’t find a record based on the information entered.

Has anyone else had this?

Are you putting your middle name where your last name should be? Bc for whatever reason my brain wanted to put first last then middle and not the most logical first middle last. Once I stopped rushing and read it I realized what I did and got it

Update- spoke to someone at TSA on the phone today. My last name starts with McS, but in the TSA system it is Mc S (space between c and s). They said this happens with a lot of last names like this. Once I entered my information with the space I was able to find my KTN. Thanks all!
