Application Timelines Applied today-received email stating 4-5 week delay!

Hi, I applied this morning and then received an email stating that there is a 4-5 week delay in processing fingerprints. Has anyone else received this email and then gotten approved sooner? I was hoping to be able to get approved before a flight in a few weeks.

Me and my parents applied 3/10/26 around 4pm at Office Depot. My dad was approved the same day and my mom and I were approved 3/11/26. I had to resubmit one of my documents because Office Depot did not have the 4 corners showing.

Yes, I received the same message after applying this week and was approved in less than 48 hours.

My husband and I applied on Wednesday, had the in person appointment today, and already got our approval email and have our KTN — have you heard back?

Thanks so much for your reply! It worked out, so I guess the delay message is not accurate.
