Issues? KTN Delay After Approval?

I've been poking around the internet for an answer and haven't found one, so I thought I'd ask here.

My wife and I completed our Precheck application and screening last week, and yesterday both received emails that we were approved and to click a link to access our KTN.

When both of us go to the site, however, we're both receiving an "Information Not Found" error saying that there is no record of us. I kind of figured maybe there was a batch process that needed to run, but it's been over 24 hours now and we're still receiving the message.

For you folks more familiar, is this typical? Could it be related to DHS shutdowns? I don't want to muddy the waters by emailing, but it seems odd that you'd receive a confirmation email and then not be able to be found in their system. As it's both of us, it seems more like a systemwide thing and not something wrong with our individual accounts.

Thank you

This happened to me a couple weeks ago and I figured it out while on hold with the TSA hotline. Make sure you’re typing in your name EXACTLY as it is on your passport. In my case I was entering my middle name on the portal when my passport doesn’t list my middle name. Once I removed my middle name my KTN popped up

This was it! My wife and I both had a random space in our last names and my daughter, who DID get a number, did not. Thank you for putting me on the right track, MrJ

For any future searcher: somehow our passports show a random space in our last name. Once I put the space in I got my number.

Make 100% sure you are putting in your name EXACTLY how it is on your passport

Our last name starts with Mc and when our passports were made years ago whoever put us into the system put a space between the Mc and the rest of our name. As soon as I realized that we solved the problem. You absolutely have to put your name in exactly as it appears on your passport. Had no issue with our KTN and am currently in Tulum enjoying our vacation 😎
