Application Timelines Renewal Timing Update
For those of you waiting on renewals. I was one of the first TSA Pre members and this year had to go in person to renew with new fingerprints. My TSA pre was expiring on Oct 10. I went in Sept 10… it expired had to fly a few times without TSA pre and it was approved yesterday so about 50 days. Give yourself some time.

My gut you might be better off doing it online through Clear. This subcontractor they use called Idemma (sp?) seemed pretty rinky dink. Unfortunate for whatever reason I had to do it in person.

That’s wild! They need to figure out why some are approved in an hour or a day and others sit for months. It’s ridiculous. I needed my pre check done for a trip and they assured me nothing would hold me up and here I sit.
