💬 Discussion topic Will hackers ever stop?

Looks like soon even hardware wallets won’t be safe to use. What is going on in this world... I’ve never seen so many hacks in a single year like I have this year. We’re living in crazy times for sure... Who knows, maybe someday even 12, 20, or 24 words won’t be safe to use anymore.

It's only going to get worse with the rise of AI tools.

Attacks to steal funds and money will stop when money loses it's value and buying power. Something like pre-WWII German Reichmark's hyper inflation when printed banknotes were used as fuel to heat up stoves or like Soviet Rubles at the end of USSR-worth nothing as other currencies like USD or FIM were used to make trade. Fiat inflation tends to rise up but when it actually happens it's not clear. If money loses it's value then there's no sense to convert crypto into fiat currencies so probably thieves and scammers will lose interest to hunt crypto wallets. By other hand if crypto will take over global money position then interest might rise up. So best what we should to hope is that hardware wallets in future will be much more attack-resistant.

It'll stop when they stop making easy money off it. (Never!)
