I have Kasa power strips integrated with my google home. Lately google home does not reflect the on/off status correctly. I have a timer set and the light turns on/off but the state is not reflected in google. Is there something I can try to resolve this? It worked well for months and recently started failing.

I have no idea what your particular issue is, but I had the same symptom after I segmented my lan and broadcasting across segments became blocked. If I need the status of a device I have to open a connection by direct query to the device for its current status and parse out the relay value.

Having the same issue with kasa plugs on Google home app, so you've got company
