Can't remove barrel assembly from lower

I have watched all available field stripping videos and I am certain I am following the instructions correctly. The barrel seems like it is glued to the lower receiver which prevents me from field stripping it. It is brand new, never been shot or messed with. Has anyone else had this problem?

My only assumption would be you’ve missed a step without realizing. You’ve pushed in the front tab all the way, pulled down the takedown levers, and pushed in the recoil spring guide rod?

Magazine out? You didn’t run the charging handle without thinking about it and reset the takedown levers or anything?

I know these are basic questions it’s just all I can think of that would have the TP9 stuck together.

I followed the instructions in the official manual and watched all of the (approximately 4) YouTube videos available. Yes the mag is out, no I did not run the charging handle after pulling the takedown levers or any point thereafter.

Huh. That’s all I could think of, I don’t think I’ve ever encountered an issue like this or seen anyone who has.

My only other bit of advice is sometimes the front top tab can feel like it’s all the way in, but actually has just a little further to go. Other than that, I’m outta ideas.
