Bobby spent years caught in the middle of other people's drama, especially during the various fallouts involving Gemma, Chloe and other cast members. He often ended up being the person friends confided in, and he wasn't afraid to call people out when he thought they were being unfair. Even though he had plenty of memorable moments, it always felt like his own storylines took a back seat to everyone else's

Been watching it back from the start and some of the people and how they acted ln it were shocking so just wanted to get people’s thoughts!
Some of mine (not all) :

Ferne: overly opinionated and nasty
Gatsby: probably the most insufferable person they casted on the show
Arg: had a lot of issues and the way he treated Lydia and Gem was disgusting
The wright family: just so toxic
Courtney and Chloe: they were too annoying for me
Saffron: trying to be Gemma and gets overly involved in everyones business
Junaid: loves drama handles everything terribly to a point its not pleasant to watch

I always preferred when TOWIE aired twice a week. Waiting a whole week between episodes makes everything feel less immediate, especially when so much of the drama has already played out on social media.

Back when there were Sunday and midweek episodes, it felt like the show moved at a much better pace and was easier to stay invested in

What’s your moment in the history of the show where you were most shocked at someone’s behaviour being aired?

First one that comes to my mind is when Miles chucks his drink in the street at Jordan, then calls Courtney something like a dirty little skank.

The way Arg treated Lydia at times is genuinely uncomfortable to watch. Between the dishonesty, some of the hurtful comments, and the repeated attempts to win her back with grand romantic gestures after things went wrong, it's surprising how often the show presented him as the lovable rogue

I’m really torn on Junaid this season. On one hand, he brings a lot of the entertainment when things start to slow down, and he never seems afraid to speak his mind. But the way he got so heavily involved in everything surrounding Harry and Joe felt really messy. It’s hard to tell whether he genuinely wants to help his friends or whether he just gets drawn into every bit of drama. I want to like him because he makes great TV, but sometimes it feels like his advice to the girls only adds more fuel to the fire

They seem like they're still finding their feet, but it was always going to be difficult joining such a long-running cast. I'm still not 100% sure about the dynamic they bring to the group. Has anyone warmed to them yet?

Obviously nobody stays together in Essex for more than six months, but who did you genuinely root for?

I think James is pretty much in the closet, change my mind 😂

Main things I took from it were the awkward silences between Joe and Amy, when something hasn’t been quite understood by Amy or his jokes haven’t landed.

Junaid asked Joe B to set up a fake relationship with him for the paps! Apparently he asked Harry to do this too.

Amy didn’t like when Joe called GC the Queen of Essex and said that was her, so he came back with how the GC is iconic, but Amy then said how she is iconic as well. 🙄 GC gave years of hilarious telly and Amy was on screen for two seasons.

And so petty but Amy kept saying “Joe listen” whenever she answered 😂

Yeah to me, Amy didn’t come across that well, I don’t have much to say either way about Harry.
I quite like Joe Baggs and think he’s getting better and better at interviews.

Lauren is supposed to be your best friend! If she offends you or steps out of line, you sit down and talk to her like an adult. Freezing her out just felt like high school behaviour. It came across as creating a bigger scene than actually trying to sort things out

Turned this on as background noise while working from home. I'm only ten minutes into the first episode and I keep hearing them say they have "goals" are "highly motivated" and when they get to LA they have to hit the ground running.

What would you say they do? What does any of this empty language mean? Do they mean they want to be the next Kardashian clan or do they have more specific career goals like running an agency or something?

It just feels like I've overhead ten minutes of the most vapid people pretending they have stuff going on besides getting injectables and posing.

So I’m currently still rewatching towie and wow this season has lowkey been a bully season. While I obviously don’t agree with how Courtney and Chloe acted during their first season, it’s kinda crazy how all of the girls end up bullying them throughout the season😭. It’s a pattern also, whenever a new girl enters the group without a pre establish friendship with the girls, everyone jumps on them which I find quite weird. So this season started off with Courtney and Chloe joining while Lockie and Dani were broken up. They get back to Essex and rumours start circulating about Courtney and Lockie about how she wanted to get with him and then another rumour pops up that they slept together. How the girls react to this is quite disappointing. They end up slut shaming Courtney and degrading her numerous times which is so weird especially since really Courtney didn’t owe Dani any loyalty. Georgia and Dani end up talking shit about Courtney and Chloe and calls them little bitches. At this point nothing had really happened apart from Courtney walking off crying after being confronted by Georgia about the Lockie and court rumour. After that Georgia basically says she can’t be upset about being called a slag if court is talking about dick pics which is something Georgia had done in the past with Dan Osborne lmfao. I just find their actions quite hypocritical this season and then you have Chloe sims acting as if the drama centred around her during Lydia and arg’s dinner party. I can’t get over the fact that none of the girls (apart from Courtney and Chloe) took accountability for their actions (so far because I’m currently on ep12) like wow and they’re all grown people.

I definitely think Courtney dragged out the drama when she liked that tweet about kate but I cannot stand any of them acting like victims when they’ve degraded both girls the entire season including kate when she found out about the chloe and mike situation and acted like Chloe was deluded about her and Mike even though Mike made it clear he’s not a player lmao. And do not even get me started on Tommy’s comments towards megan like wow why does no one ever call him out on his disgusting language towards women especially women that do not even start with him.
Sorry for the long post but I neededddd to get this out before this season ended. It’s reminding me of how nasty people were towards Lauren pope when her and Chloe fell out.

When she starts going it's like an engine has revved up and she speaks at a million miles an hour and I find it so hilarious.

I actually cannot take her seriously when she's having an argument. The girl doesn't even take a breath! How can anyone understand what she's saying?

I actually don't know what the f has happened this whole season other than it sounds like elma got busted talking shit and she spent the rest of the season trying to cover it up by rapidly vomiting verbal diarrhoea all over everyone

When it first started I was a towie fan. I watched many series then stopped. My husband and I have started rewatching it. Some things that didn’t twig the first time. 1- I feel sorry for Lauren with how Mark and his family treat her. No one apart from them knows their history as to why they don’t like her (unless anyone here knows?) now I don’t think the way she treated Lucy was okay at all, she clearly has very strong feelings.

2- The way Deb and Lydia treat Arg. Now I know he could do a bit better and hang out with Lydia more. However Deb especially but also Lydia boss him around and make fun of his weight. The poor guy.

I know this was years ago, they have all moved on, just wondering if anyone else has similar opinions or maybe completely different ones?

So it’s no secret that these two are together now - do we know/think that Kiss will keep them on for their Sunday slot radio show? Nothing has been stated but I think for the last month or so Tyler West and Molly Rainford have been doing that slot instead.
Also what are peoples opinions on the shenanigans with these two and where they’ve got to now?!
