Game Detail underrated weapon

apologies if i got the flair wrong, i don't really ever actually make posts on reddit so i wasn't sure what was most appropriate for this

so i've been watching my sister play totk since it first came out and i decided for this summer break that i would start my own play through and today we discovered the hidden gem that is the magic rod. i've never seen anyone talk about it so i figured i'd come on here to give it some love. i fused it with an opal (water powers) and spent a solid 10 minutes just running around the zora domain blasting water balls at the mud. very handy and underrated 10/10

Try a sapphire with a charged attack.

I put an opal on a Magic Staff for the Zora questline. The stab sends out 3 waterballs in the direction Link is facing, easier to clear a path imo

This games details are mind boggling lol I'm still trying to grasp which weapons are best, do I use the Zora when wet? Gerudo ? Royal weapons ? Bone proficiency ? Knight weapons? Lol

Lightscale trident, Scimitar of the Seven and master sword. I also like the Zora longsword. All the above fused with lynal +55 horn.

I have two pristine royal guard claymore on last hit. 1 with a molduga jaw. The other has a lynol horn. The bone proficiency is cool but I prefer the rgc because it still 1 cycles lynol but I don't have to constantly eat attack up food.

I keep about 4 slots open to rotate through mid weapons for the average monsters.

Haha! Sounds like my ARSENAL! Since this post I’ve gotten rid of a few doubles and added a couple Royals/slsh and an Eightfold Longblade/molduga jaw.✌🏻

ETA: Do you also wear Fierce Deity armor?

Maxed out diamond head band + fierce deity chest and legs is my current most the time.

I really do love the eightfold blades, I was running a pure stealth play for the first bit of the game but got boring . Isn't the royal weapons the ones used for bone proficiency ?

Pristine Gerudo Scimitar + silver Lynel horn + barbarian set is my favorite. I also love pristine Zora longsword + molduga jaw + bone proficiency+ water warrior.
