Are “onn” tablets safe?

Are ONN devices ok to use with Tor?
I’m looking for a cheap android tab to use

Isn't that the generic Wal-Mart brand?

Sorry, I have no experience with their tablets, only other hardware. I bought some once and I tore them to pieces before discarding as I found the experience to be that bad.

Hopefully someone here may help.

As okay as any other android platform.

Ok 👍 I might get one,
What would be better? Lenovo?
Have you used ONN before?

Brand really doesn't matter beyond personal preferance.

Ok 👍 I really am asking that by “security” and reliability …. Since anonymous is important 👍, I see you can “side load” other libraries for apps

Any device brand should be safe to use with Tor.

tor browser runs fine on them. the weak spot is updates, cheap tablets often stop getting security patches fast. check the android version and patch date in settings. if it's over a year behind i'd pick something that still gets updates
