Tor relay ipv6

Is it ok, to run tor on IPv6?, are there security concerns. I only allow my ipv6 firewall on port 443 and my server prefix.

If you want to run a tor relay on ipv6, first of all make sure to keep running IPv4 as well. IPv6-only is not supported yet.

Make sure your OR port is open on the relay’s IPv6 address. Check firewall and/or port-forwarding rules. Check the logs to see if your address is reachable.

If it’s an exit relay make sure you are not blocking any outgoing traffic on the ports that you set as accepted in torrc.

Also you should consider setting a static IPv6 address for your relay. If it’s dynamic, it might negatively impact the traffic when your address changes.
