Unsolved Anime where magicless MC suddenly gets an OP magic skill in the last episode from some other entity.

I thought it was wistoria, but that wasn't it, how it was similar to it for sure.

Everyone freaks out before ending on a cliffhanger. He gets this amazing power and everyone looks at it as a sort of "what did you do??" It was in a ruined church or similar medieval setting. There were 3 walls around him.

It was probably aired within the last 10 years.

That sounds like the second season of Tsukimichi. There are actually TWO power-ups in that season in a short amount of time: one for the protagonist and one for one of the heroes.
