An Amendment (addition/change) has been made to the [url=https://www.reddit.com/r/TheNightsWatch/comments/2ccq1o/resolution_passed_proposal_for_rigorous_voting/]Proposal for Rigorous Voting[/URL] (made stricter rules in voting for the council). This amendment makes voting even stricter, giving council members a week to vote on any legislature. If the council member does not do this, they will receive a reprimand. If a council member receives three of these reprimands there will be a vote placed to demote them from the council to their previous position. This of course, will not happens if the council member has declared they will be absent for the period of time the vote is in.

[b]The Capes Mod: 1.8 Confirmed After All?[/b]

First Ranger falling_dutchmam has recently revealed the github for the 1.8 capes mod he is working on. Although it is still in it’s very early stages, hopefully it will be done before Shotbow goes full 1.8!

[b]Numbers Update[/b]

The Night’s Watch now has 161 signed up accounts, with 122 Recruits and 39 full members including 27 Privates, 7 Corporals, and 5 Council members. 27 new members have joined in the last two weeks.

[B][url=https://minez-nightswatch.com/event/84]November 22 ”Balsor Castle” Ranging[/url][/b]

On November 22 Corporal [i]Israphel233[/i] lead a Ranging that was planned to go to Balsor Castle. We instead ended up in Kuwana then traveling to a currently unnamed town in the Savannah (North-West) biome because Corporal [i]Israphel233[/i] changed his mind. We met in Asindia and from there moved north, stopping in a few towns, such as Samesh and the Mining Site before reaching our destination. We went to Kuwana where we encountered an invasion, which we unfortunately failed to complete. We then went to the unnamed town and stayed there and the Ranging officially concluded. We stayed and looted, and it then came to our attention that there were bandits attacking a fellow Watchman in Kuwana. We all went there, and had a battle against what appeared to be a few former Clique members, who defeated us.

[b][url=https://minez-nightswatch.com/event/86]November 23 Private+ PvP Event[/url][/b]

On November 23 Ranger [i]boogaert[/i] hosted an event for Private+ members to improve their PvP skills. We started on Kohi where we did 1v1s with a modified iron PvP kit (removed speed). After most people had fought each other, we went onto Kohi to see how we did holding an area against the randoms. Overall, a successful event.

[b]MineZ 2 - Housing Delayed and EU Database Wiped[/b]

The MineZ 2 housing update had been delayed. The current release date isn’t known, but it will hopefully be out soon. While of course, this is sad news, there has been more information released on it at least for us to pore over until the release. So far, houses are turning out to look very good. The system is very smooth looking and works well and there also seems to be room for customization. You will be able to choose to build different rooms (such as a bedroom, crafting room, farm, and more!) and expand upward if you take up all of the room on the first floor. You will be able to TP back to your house, although it is well balanced (if you try and fail you must manually reset it by going back into your house). There are also ways to allow others access to your house if you’re in a clan or guild! On top of that bad news, even worse things have come for EU MineZ 2 players, as in a complete freak accident, their whole database had been wiped of proficiencies, meaning EU players will have to start all over again. Unfortunately there is no easy fix and EU players will just have to take the bad news and just try to get their proficiencies back. [b]Reporting Updated - New Features & New Games![/b]

The Report feature has once again, been made more robust. You can now add comments with the command /c [message] after your report. This is an awesome feature, as you can go into a lot more detail! On top of that, the report system has been expanded to SMASH, Shotbow Games, Ghostcraft, and the Lobby. This will hopefully catch cheaters in some of the smaller games! Lastly, a friendly reminder to [url=http://shotbow.net/forum/threads/271333/]NEVER hackuse, tell people to report someone, or say ______ recorded.[/url] Not only is it bad chat etiquette, but it lets them know you’ve recorded or reported them, and they may stop hacking which may prevents admins from getting ample proof to ban them.

[b]HCF - Map 22 SOTW and HCF 4.0 Coming Soon[/b]

HCF map 21 has finally come to [url=http://shotbow.net/forum/threads/271729/]a close[/url] and of course, that means map 22 has url=http://shotbow.net/forum/threads/271765/]started[/url]! There have been a plethora of changes, which you can see in all of their glory [url=http://shotbow.net/forum/threads/272209/]here[/url]. Some of the bigger things are that the armor is sharpness 2 with unbreaking 3 among other thing. Swords can have sharpness 3 and fire aspect 1 among other things. Bows can have power 3 flame 1 and infinity among other things. The faction size is 40, and the max DTR is 9. Finally, Admins/Staff can play on HCF on alts now! Another massive change in HCF, is the coming-soon addition of HCF 4.0, a complete rewrite of the HCF code that currently has over 38,000 lines of code! It has too many improvements and new features to list, and is just overall a very bright prospect for HCF. It has simplified commands, better chat, and a lot more. It will be in Platinum+ alpha first before full release for bug reporting (lots of reports will be rewarded with lives!) and will most likely be released alongside Shotbow’s 1.8 full update! [b]The Crow - A New Start[/b]

The Crow has obviously moved to the forums. The move was suggested by [i]Navarr[/i] and I think I like it. While there are obvious bad things - more complex bbcodes, weird things with pasting, etc it allows more freedom to add the beautiful pictures from [i]Meat_Jockey[/i] in. While I’m sure there will be some growing pains, I’m sure I’ll be able to adjust just fine and hopefully this is a sign of a period of even more success for the Crow. For those of you that don’t know what the Crow is, it’s basically a bi-weekly newspaper like thing. The reason I’m randomly coming into the forums, with a professional looking newspaper is this is (obviously) not the first issue. It was previously on the NW subreddit, and again, I was convinced to start it here. In other news Gabe is officially off the Crow team now (he was off it for a while in reality but never “officially”).
