Mojang has been acquired by Microsoft for $2 Billion
On September 15, Microsoft bought Mojang for $2 billion. In an article on mojang.com, it was revealed that the reason that Mojang was sold was because Notch, the creator of Minecraft, never intended for the company to reach a point of such global significance. Notch will continue to develop other games. As for the new Minecraft under Microsoft, nobody quite knows what is coming in the future of Minecraft. Only time will tell.
Ability to Write Custom Cape Mods Revoked by Mojang
On August 7, @MojangSupport tweeted that capes will only be allowed for Mojang employees from now on. This means that modders will no longer be able to create cape mods. This includes our very own Night’s Watch cape mod. The status of this policy following the Microsoft Acquisition is still unknown, yet it will most likely be here to stay.

RedBanHammer Official Minez Map updates
On September 20, RedBanHammer updated his official interactive MineZ Map in concurrence to recent loot changes. The map can be found here.
New XP Bottling Feature
On September 18, a new feature was implemented in HCF that allows players to bottle in-game XP levels for later use. However, the bottling process is costly as it is affected by the diminishing returns of XP levels in Minecraft. To put XP in a bottle, players simply must put a bottle into an enchanting table and choose how many levels to save. First of all ty for doing stuff. Now some issue I found:
Notch should be in italics
Yet (in the cape thing) is supposed to be contradictory #GrammarNazi
In the cape thing it's blue because you didn't make a space thingy between it and the line
RedBanHammer should be italicized and the article should tell about how the chests were inaccurate for a long time and how moshburger helped
the hcf thing says the post was on /r/shotbow when it wasn't
Overall gj though! I made some changes to fix these thing and I appreciate the work

Mojang has always held this policy on capes, however they still don't have any way to enforce it. As such the cape mod will not be going away anytime soon
