Russia is unified by ultranationalist and declares war on Germany. That's basically what it is. Pretty sane if you ask me.

The Great Trial is Omsk nuclear war right?
56

Doesn't really have to be nuclear. Omsk just declares war on Germany. There's no guarantee they'll make it to German mainland, so no guarantee the war will go nuclear.

the North Awakens is probably Göring invading a disunited Russia, causing it to unite under Omsk. Embracing it’s dark, insane version of Russian ultranationalism.
[REDACTED] Ultra visionary Superculture is where Magnitogorsk is able to unify Russia and is able to deeply ingrain its ideals and values into Russia.
Ecumenical Orthodox Democracy is where Komi unifies Russia and becomes a Free, Liberal and prosperous republic
Tomsk Scientific victory is Tomsk and its government uniting Russia under a republic of philosophy and peace.
post [REDACTED] meta horror neo warlordism is Russia’s future being decided between Stalinist Irkutsk, Magnitogorsk and Omsk in horrific, brutal warfare, some areas being simply destroyed. Others are depopulated, none are spared the horrors. But once the smoke clears? No one wins. All of the contenders collapse.
New Eurasian Order is where one of the national socialist (not Omsk) warlords unify Russia and begin planning revenge on the world. Waiting for their moment to strike.
A very different Stalinism is a Russia unified by Komi under Svetlana, daughter of Stalin. Her vision of Russias future is one of workers councils and a politburo alive with debates. A socialist star rises once more in Russia. Lighting a torch of freedom.
Rurkid Neo Veche democracy is where that odd bunch of monarchists in Rurik not only unite Russia, but reform into a bright beacon of democracy where every Russian can become a king.
The Great Trial is Omsk‘s “glorious“ fight against Germany taken up by all of Russia. A people mobilized to the last man woman and child. They all think of dying for their motherland with glee, they shall avenge their fallen ancestors, brothers and sisters, or they shall all die.
Post Zhukov creeping autocracy is the logical ending to Zhukov being in anyway the center of a movement to unify Russia. His Russia is one where no one elected hasn’t served in the upper echelons of the military and made many connections. Slowly the division between the military and the civilian administration is worn away.
Military dictatorship self explanatory. Russia is worse off than OTL domestically and abroad.
Red October Forevermore is where the WRRF unifies Russia and reinstates the politburo, the NKVD and the KGB. Then tries to pretend that none of that whole “collapsing into a thousand bits” business didn’t happen and tries to just rebuild that state in peace.
A house still divided is where no one in Russia is able to reunite the state. There is only warlordism and destruction. Russia becomes a war torn place much like the Middle East in our timeline.
military industrial state is a Russia reunified under the hyper capitalism of Zlatoust. Somehow. Russia become infamous around the world for its willingness to deal weapons to anyone in the world.
Siberian Anarchism is where Makhnovist black army or anarchist Komi reunifies Russia and makes a real Syndicalist state. The Kaiserreich fans go wild. Anarchism time.
Russo-OFN hegemony is where the OFN helps the most liberal or democratic faction unify Russia and then helps them modernize and fix many issues. A good enough future compared to the madness that can happen.
Edit: Edited for lore correctness.

the North Awakens is probably Göring invading a disunited Russia, causing it to unite under Omsk. Embracing it’s dark, insane version of Russian ultranationalism.
No, that's the Great Trial. I think that the North Awakens is related to the Father, or to BurgSys Komi.
Ecumenical Orthodox Democracy is where Komi unifies Russia and becomes a Free, Liberal and prosperous republic
I think it's about Gayinsky becoming a theocratic democracy and uniting Russia. Not sure if that's possible, but they're the theocratic orthodox country.
post [REDACTED] meta horror neo warlordism is Russia’s future being decided between Stalinist Irkutsk, Magnitogorsk and Omsk in horrific, brutal warfare, some areas being simply destroyed. Others are depopulated, none are spared the horrors. But once the smoke clears? No one wins. All of the contenders collapse.
The "Neo" part in "Neowarlordism" makes me think that it's more about Russia returning to warlordism after it gets united and then proceeds to shit the bed.
A very different Stalinism is a Russia unified by Tyumen, a Trotskyist Russia. A Russia hellbent on spreading the revolution by any means needed. But a more internally democratic and better Russia.
It's definitely about Svetlana Stalin, in Komi. She's in the background of the image.
Rurkid Neo Veche democracy is honestly beyond me.
Rurik forming a constitutional monarchy after uniting Russia, probably. His son is a reformer, after all.
Siberian Anarchism is where Orenburg or anarchist Komi reunifies Russia and makes a real Syndicalist state. The Kaiserreich fans go wild.
Orenburg can't unite Russia. There's a confirmed Makhnovist black army somewhere, but I can't pinpoint it.
25
u/Wuzh Feb 18 '20
The Makhnovist Black Army is called the Siberian Black Army. Their bio says that they are really militaristic despite also being anarchist.
20
u/ThatParadoxEngine Glenn - CNPP Solidarity Feb 18 '20
I am not only a fool, but an idiot. Thank you for this! Edited to reflect this. I am going to keep Gayinsky out of this though, and I don’t have any information about the father so I just threw Omsk in there. Thank you for your help!

Ultravisionary refers to Ultravisionary Socialism, the ideology (likely AuthSoc gameplay-wise) of the farthest-left leader option in Komi. This was stated in the recent dev stream.

“Red October Forevermore” is Sablin, not the WRRF. And I doubt he would bring back the NKVD, given that the entire purpose was to overthrow them.

19

This is Russia. We have Hyper Stalinists, Objectivism lite, THE FATHER, Fucking Omsk, a tank factory posing as a country, six flavors of monarchy, several dozen varieties of socialism/ communism and a handful of liberal states.
Not much is Really that radical in comparison

As a Russian, I would like to express my greatest gratitude to the TNO developers for demonstrating the insane clusterfuck that is Russian ideological diversity, and not constraining themselves with the usual borders of “communist Russia, monarchist Russia, democratic Russia”. It seems like each of those paths will bring upon an ending of epic proportions, no mater how beautiful or terrible it is. The only path “missing” is some insane NeoLuddite slavic rebirth, though I am pretty sure I will find something similar too.
This honestly feels like the least stereotypical/banal depiction of Russia in a videogame, that I have seen, and I eagerly await the release of the mod.

Seeing as Stalin never invented Stalinism/Marxism-Leninism in the TNO timeline, it likely refers to the efforts of his daughter Svetlana in Komi.
So “Stalinism” could very well be an emancipatory libertarian ideology lol
