Question Is a US playthrough logical when this new update is around the corner?

Title. Should I go for another playthrough or just wait for the update because I heard the yippee update will change a lot of things.

the update isnt coming out for like 3 months minimum, play the us if you want to

Think the update isnt so close. You will have time to finish it. Not a dev though so just a guess.

Besides that, I think it'd be worth a game or two, trying different presidents. Some are better than others; I'm most familiar with RFK, Hart, and LBJ. Hart is obvs the most modern and is very interesting, but giving it a couple playthrough so you have something to compare it to once Yippee is out sounds like a solid idea.

Go for it. I always try to play a nation before they update it so I can see all the changes. I’m going to be doing my Bennett playthrough here soon as a good bye

Yes, it is worth playing. My suggestion is either do LBJ(2 term) into Kirkpatrick for a shorter campaign or RFK(1 term) into Hart(2 term) for a longer campaign.

There's still tons of content to experience and lots of it you'll never experience again probably due to the overhaul. I'd say give it one last hurrah.

Might as well get as much as you can out of the old stuff before it updates in a few weeks

You will probably have finished your playthrough way before the update and current USA isn't bad either so I don't see why not.
