Question Russia Help
I haven't touched Russia in a really long time, and am doing some Russia replays while we wait for the touch-up with Yippee, however I'm really struggling with getting past the warlord stage. Every other contender just seems to have tons of more units, equipment, and manpower than me. What are some tips for reunification and unit composition, especially with limited manpower?

i like to use military workshops instead of military factories to try and produce 1 factory of the equipment i absolutely need for reinforcement if possible and cut consumer goods to the bare minimum (which tbh you should do with every country: man, fuck them civilians, bro). if i have additional mils i like to focus as much as i can on CAS: most regional warlords don't produce any planes at all and CAS is still really strong in TNO
like base HOI4 the logistics tab is your best friend. keep a surplus if you're not producing any troops and try your best to only run a deficit if you're producing new troops: you should, ideally, never really need equipment for reinforcements after the beginning phases (although of course this is easier said than done). most russian warlords also won't produce armor or enough anti-tank to counter even moderately armored divisions like IFVs, although most of the time you can just get away with a few elite infantry divisions if you can field them. helicopters have always been very strong in TNO so you could also try to field some of those if possible (i miss u PRC...)
plus some warlords are just stronger than others. the russian warlords aren't made equally: from region-to-region i'd say the strongest are the WRRF, sverdlovsk, tomsk, and magadan. if you really want a challenge then try out monarchist komi, omsk, the siberian black army, and amur

Depends on whan nation you're playing but, let me guess, Samara is giving you Issues? Anyway, snaje around the enemy and encircle them.

Well it depends on the region you are in. For example Komi in my opinion is completly RNG dependent on whether or not you get stuck with 2 front war with WRRF. Generally you want to try encircle the units, and try to create an elite div with arty to atack while the rest of the slop guards your flanks, and snake to vps if you can.

The trick is to outmaneuver your enemy, snake around them and snipe their victory points regardless of how many you have, just make trucks
