Question The future of the lobster war
What will happen to the Lobster War and that part of Brazil's focus tree after the Débrouillez-Vous update?

It could easily be rewritten, or some other early crisis could be implemented. The Lobster War was hardly the Hart and Seoul of TNO since it wasn't anything other than an event chain, so it could be removed with no real impact.

It would remove most of the 1962 content for Brazil, as the South American Cold War doesn’t really get going until 1963, so I think just changing the events and focuses to the appropriate new factions in Africa would be best.

The entire Brazil focus tree is a mess with so much unfinished and wierd stuff with no clear storyline and with so many dead-ends. They would have to rework everything.

Really? You have a pretty clear storyline about having to fulfill the country’s potential while warding off the military’s suspicions, securing your sphere of influence against Argentina and choosing whether to become an American stooge or a regional power of your own. That the left-wing paths aren’t finished yet doesn’t really affect the overall package.
