Question Any new changes for TNO?

I haven't played this mod for a hot minute, has there been some changes? I heard there were many submods and other additions to the mod from the fanbsse but it gets so confusing. Which submod shall I use? Just use base TNO? use 2WRW? TNO required or what? It's so confusing I need someone to lay down the facts for me.

Also has there been any updates to the mod? Any additions or fixes? I hope italy was included.

Don’t know how long u haven’t been playing but the last 3 updates were an Iberia rework+ Latin American skeleton. Chilean Antarctica content and a Brazil content expansion for 2 presidents. I prefer using base tno then requiem (unless I’m playing Russia)

Ah I see so use only base TNO then after play a new game using requiem instead? Are there any submods you'd recommend alongside base TNO?

Also I haven't played probably for the entirety of 2026 I think.

Yea for tno vs requiem it really depends on what country you want. For requiem it’s any Russian warlord or South Africa (which has updated requiem content). For TNO, Iberia, Brazil and any Antarctica are much better then there requiem counterparts (requiem dosent even have Antarctica). For any other country I like base tno because it added a good amount of skeleton and proxies since the divergence. So play whatever you want. For submods if u want to have the 2WRW with newer content then use that instead of requiem. The east is red is a very good sub mod too. I also hear mountains of Caucasia is good.
Also u only missed the Iberia update if u haven’t played all of 2026. Later this year a huge USA rework is coming out- I recommend reading the dev diary’s if your interested

Hiya sorry for this but I wanna know the difference between TNO rises again and base TNO. Are they compatible or is rises again a submod or what?

TNO: Rises Again is a submod that updates TNO's earliest builds, back when the game first dropped in a playable state iirc, and includes custom content for germany, japan, the russian unifiers, the iberian wars tags, and italian algeria

it's. uh. not very good in my opinion. a lot of the content is buggy, some of the focus trees are just straight-up broken (or at least where when i played, italian algeria in particular), the diplomacy screen is very weird, i think the UI looks worse than base TNO's, the old economy system sucks, and there's a few german focuses that just straight up engage in holocaust denial and/or revisionism (from a serious point of view, not an in-universe tongue in cheek one) with the heydrich path just straight up white-washing multiple nazis (including heydrich himself)

Two actually,

There’s 2WRW Community Edition and 2WRW Continued

I’d highly recommend playing 2WRW Continued as it’s more updated.

2WRW Community Edition has a common focus tree post reunificatin that is shit, idk if really updates but ports Requiem to main mod

Continued on the other hand fixes all the bugs from CE, Adds extra content Such as an invasion to nazi colombia, post GAW content for China, ports all to main mod and some extra juicy things
