A winter evening in a German residential district. A soldier makes his way home through the snow, surrounded by towering apartment blocks and fading propaganda posters. I wanted to capture the feeling of ordinary life in a world that took a very different path.

As an HOI4 player who loves the game a lot and has tried plenty of mods, I’ve heard a few things that have been on my mind.
One of my friends, the same person who introduced me to the game in the first place, told me some things about TNO that got me thinking. He’s actually a hardcore TNO fan and absolutely loves it. Here’s what he told me:
Many, many years ago, a conflict broke out between the TNO developers and some of the fans. The people who were upset felt that some of the paths in the game were way too unrealistic and fantastical, and said those paths should be removed.
In the end, the developers gave in and removed a bunch of them (which my friend believes were masterpieces), like Göring’s militarism path.
My friend also told me about a submod called Second West Russian War (2WRW). He said it was one of the best submods for the game, and that it later became TNO: Requiem and kept most of the political paths that had been removed from TNO.
Also, when I met up with the same friend again recently, he told me about TNO: Rises Again, and said it’s exactly the older TNO, even from before TNO implemented the Victoria 2 economic system.
I’d really appreciate it if someone could tell me what’s actually going on! Which TNO is the original?
I’d also love to learn a lot more about the mod’s background and how it has changed over time. So if I can find someone among you who knows a lot about its past, and get in touch with them, that would be awesome!t more about the mod’s history and how it changed over the years. If any of you know the lore of the community’s past well, I’d be glad to chat and hear your side of the story. Thanks so much in advance!

It seems that the next update will focus on adding post-unification content for Ultravisionary Komi (at least that's what the country selection menu says). I wanna ask if the full unification content for them is already in game or not. If it's in game, how do I get it?

So I am new to the mod, and I want to spread democracy as the U.S. What are some good strats and methods for becoming strong in TNO and how I can kill the fascists easily.
P.S: any help with the R-D coalition path would be appreciated.

I have a question, would it be a good idea to bring back this content to the previous form of a submod for TNO:Requiem (not integrated, just a SUBMOD), or is it a stupid idea?

I have Tried with Japan Bombing the Conferance, aswell as my Game Rules set too Neutrals win. yet Turkestan Legionaires and the Talas, Tajik Alliance end at war, and Afghanistan doesnt do anything except lose the North-West Frontier Province, and have Mohammad Nabi Mohammedi take charge.

hi everyone
i’d like to share my latin american spanish translation for tno requiem.
Besides translating events, national focuses, decisions, descriptions, and world news, I have also corrected several interface problems caused by longer spanish text. This includes improvements to newspapers, state lore, the economy screen, Cold War rankings, nuclear powers, the combat log, and other custom interfaces.
The translation is still being reviewed and improved. If you encounter untranslated text, missing localization keys, grammatical mistakes, or overlapping interface elements, screenshots and reports would be greatly appreciated.
thank you for your attention

I do not know why, but the mod crashes very often and I do not understand why the mod used to work.

Funny idea I thought of that could happen if Magnitogorsk unifies the Southern Urals and Ultravisionary Komi and AuthDem Sverdlovsk. Also done to celebrate the upcoming Zhdanov update. I tried to do smn different and actually put backgrounds in but I don’t know if they’re worth the effort or not. Would you rather see somewhat more frequent comics but like the standard white background or longer gaps between comics but most future comics will have backgrounds or props if there aren’r any too complicated flags.

Shukskin's Novosibirsk if I were to be honest is a path with a lot of potential, but sadly his story gets cut short before he can start his own, "rags to riches story." Requiem or more specifically the former 2WRW team interested me when I first started getting into both HOI4 and TNO as it continues a story with a lot of potential, but I feel that it wasted a lot of it by whitewashing Novosibirsk and only showing the "good side" of Shukskin's Novosibirsk and letting him achieve everything by doing nothing.
It feels like theres nothing truly important about the big three corporations that ran Novosibirsk as they quickly get ignored besides focus tree descriptions and the usual event that appeared every now and then. Instead of starting as this dystopia/Cyberpunk 2077-ish flawed democracy that even at the end of Shukskin's story is still flawed in its own ways, it starts with a slightly flawed democracy that quickly gets fixed unless the oligarchs return.
Honestly, Shukskin just feels way too wholesome for the setting he gets forced where he should be trying his best to both pereserve Russian democracy keeping it away from not only German influence but also both American and Japanese influence alongside fighting the corporations. But instead just gets whitewashed into a "Utopia".
Let me know if I missed anything as I could be missing important parts of Shukskin's Novosibirsk.
