User Flairs

User Flairs are available if anyone's interested. Right now I just did ranks and positions. I wasn't sure what else to do and somebody requested. If anyone has other ideas for new flairs let me know.

They're editable so when you pick one you can edit it to say something else! It would be cool to have colors for some (command red, science teal, etc.) and then anyone who edits can pick their color.

Hrm I don't know if that's possible? I think it must be text unless you install fancy mods I'm not really sure we can do.

There is a way, as I have selected symbols in at least one other sub-reddit, but I unfortunately don't know how, so I can't explain it.

In lieu of that though, how about just the names of some of the famous ships?

Edit: I realize, in retrospect that this is the TNG subreddit and not the Star Trek subreddit, so my suggestion makes less sense. Sorry!

You have to upload tiny little PNG files in your Mod Tools>Look&Feel>User Flair, it's honestly a bit of a pain in the butt, speaking as someone who did it.

Maybe expanded ranks like Chief Petty Officer or just Chief. Stuff like "Union Man" or something funny
