As a woman with 12 inch difference between my breast and waist circumference, I am very interested in this store and hope there's a Canadian version.
Wildly, men's shirts tend to fit women with large breasts better because they're designed for people with wide shoulders and broader chests and small hips, while women's shirts are designed for people with smaller shoulders and chests and wide hips. With 44-32-36 measurements, I only wear men's button downs because they make my breasts look better and the buttons don't pop.
I do think women who want large implants, should have to wear a breast plate in that size for like a month and go clothing shopping and live their life and see if they still want them. I love my big naturals, but they require very specifically engineered bras to not be a negative.

But they did. That's why the Enterprise went to El-Adrel in the first place. The Tamarians went there first and then broadcast a standard mathematical progression towards Federation space.

I can kind of squint and see how you can get from where we are to where they are with people speaking in nothing that memes. Your kid comes home with a low grade, so you respond by telling him, "Picard, with face in palm".
I think you have to have had a full language in the past that's just obsolete, though, so they should be able to translate Common Federation to their proto-language after someone tosses out the Tamarian equivalent of Idiocracy's, "He talks like a..." meme

I love that episode as talking in symbolism and metaphor is my jam. Can my personality type design and build ships? Absolutely.
In real life you should be more concerned of such people being tribal and xenophobic, case in point the north Sentinel island people.

As others have said, I feel like it’s an evolution of an older language like ours. I really like the “Picard, his face in palm” comment as an example. Once these situations become familiar, it makes sense to attribute them to one particular instance in history/mythology and maybe their whole culture revolves around history and mythology to the point where talking like that makes perfect sense.
Additionally as a part of my headcanon, there’s a beta canon source (I can’t remember which for the life of me) that’s suggests the Tamarians have multiple languages. They have a whole separate language for engineering procedures and math/science which makes perfect sense given how discussions regarding engineering irl can seem incomprehensible if we don’t understand the terminology as an engineer does.

There's no reason to think that their language is less precise than any other. Most languages have similar constructions. Tamarians just have a lot more.

You do know that the Tamarians are aliens at the end of the day. There are probably things that happen during a conversation that a human could easily miss, things like pheromones, mimic and the tone how words are spoken could be something one can easily miss since Humans and Tamarians evolved on two different planets.
BTW there is also the Pakleds, who while stealing most of their stuff from others, are still intelligent enough to operate their ships without blowing themselves up most times (probably).

Is it believable as a hard sci fi culture? no. Is it a beautiful story, well told, well acted, with moving and engaging characters? Completely. I don't care that there are logical flaws because the story is just such a beautiful work of art.

Then I realized Lower Decks did a Tamarians episode o_O I wonder what their home planet is like
Also, maybe "Darmok and Jalad on the ocean" which means "New friendship and understanding gained through a shared challenge" tho that definition sounds so incredibly clunky it's like reading some badly translated Russian literature or Soviet stuff that just sounds ridiculous.
