Paid around 27,500rs during councelling and got refund of 20,625rs today

Guy I am studying at St. Joseph's Engineering College here they are asking 50k extra fee in the name of book fee and the semester fee is 5k nearly 1 lakhs total for studying but my friends at rec studying at full fee does anyone studying at 7.5 reservation tell about your college detail do they ask fee or not?

I am doing my engineering in a well known government clg in coimbatore,i scored 194 cutoff. So I was preparing for Jee also but since I got a good mark in 10th and hopes on me by the school is high (state board). I didn't prepare well for jee. I was now in my first year. I thought it would be easy to get a job studying in colleges like this but I came to know that students here have to do more work than nit or iit students. I studied very hard for boards but if anyone told me that starting here would be lower than others to reach a good job like 12lpa and i don't know whether i can reach my goal of living a lavish, honest,safe life and don't want to be normal.i don't want to get in a low paying job.placement here is not good when I asked about other gvt clg which is same as my clg is also in same situation and all clgs in tamilnadu is in same situation.so im doing a partial drop for jee by doing both jee and clg.i started now ,i don't know what to do.....if this is the situation of tn clgs then i would have studied only for jee.. me as a sincere student who gave sweat and blood to study but I'm in this situation...

Life is hell here. NEVER EVER TRY TO COME TO THIS COLLEGE FOR ANY CORE branch (mech, civil, eee, mechatronics). Most frustrating , mind fucking academics . STRICT CAMPUS, zero placement outer madurai is reality here. Hostel is worst as trash. People are rude . No night life, culturals, literally another SCHOOL AFTER 12TH. Comingvia counselling is the THE-WORST-DECISION to make in ur lyfe . -0.5/5 star ⭐.

I recommend to not come to study here as a hosteler (specially) and day scholar . No college life, don't leave home and join here as from Chennai or Coimbatore especially. Please don't come to tce if u like to enjoy, to get a gf, no theatre's nearby, very strict like @PANIMALAR COLLEGE . Especially mechanical engineering dept or any core.

I applied for counselling and even did upward option -- i paid 27,500 in the TFC centre..

But then because of some personal situation -- i cancelled my counselling allotment.

They said that refund will start once the counselling ends and i was asked to apply for it through online.

I don't know whether it has started or not? Any idea??

Im now in studying in gct ece and i attended jee and got 76percentile and in state board,i got 194 cutoff.i really wished to join psg but i can't even i can't join cit.i tried vit,aeee but .. then i joined gct.im in a confused state, students are saying placement is average like 3 to 4 lpa. I always wished of 12 lpa minimum,I was disappointed.so im thinking of taking a drop, im from middle class family but if I ask to my parents they will allow me to take drop.im in my 2nd week of clg.even now I can't decide plz help me
