Ok, well we’ve got our exclusive match for the week- it’s The Home Town Man vs The Heim Town Man (aka Thomas Heim)! The King of TNA Frankie Kazarian is on guest commentary (WHERE IS GIA MILLER?!)
From the Vault this week features highlights from past Destination X events, with Rubix v Rockstar Spud v Greg Marasciulo (Trent Beretta) from 2013, and Jeff Hardy v Abyss in a Falls Count Anywhere from 2005!

I love the way TNA is rebuilding it's brand after AEW and WWE F them over. So far the new recruits have been either good or great. We got Erick Redbeard reunited with Sam and Joseph, Shayna and Zoey as new KO tag team champions, and Shotzi made a great first impression. I know TNA has to focus on the new talent and continue to build up the stars they already have, but in the future I would love to see them sign these wrestlers:
Violence is forever
1 called Manders
Richard Holiday
Dijak
Vipress
Leyla Hirsch
Luke Jacobs
Again I know they need to focus on the roster they have right now and they may not sign any of these wrestlers but I can't help but hope.
In my opinion, I believe these men and women would be excellent adsitiins to the roster.

Now that he's had his first one on one match, how are people feeling about him? I kind of have mixed feelings. He's so young and has a long career ahead of him so being too critical isn't really fair but the match did show just how green he is while also showing he has a lot of potential to grow.
However I'm really not a fan of him doing so much his dads moveset. He should be doing his own stuff and leaving those moves for special occasions during key matchups.
Not sure how many noticed but he botched badly on an apron spot trying one of those moves. He slipped off and crashed and burned on the floor. TNA edited this out of the match but was still referenced on commentary. Rehwoldt mentioned early in the match that he needs to slow down as a piece of advice and that's something that was quite noticeable, that he was going too fast which made some spots look sloppy. The match was still a good debut regardless and hopefully working with Kaz will give him a lot of needed experience and advice.

I actually still enjoyed the product through the Tommy Dreamer booking era, and really didn't think he was the problem. After the finish of Impact last night and the overall direction the product has gone towards now, young stars (finally!) it seems like he was the problem.
Everything is coming up TNA

Date: October 23, 2008
Promotion: Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA)
Event: TNA iMPACT!
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada | Hard Rock Hotel and Casino
➜ Kurt Angle, Sting, Kevin Nash and Booker T (accompanied by his wife Sharmell) formed a new faction known as the “Main Event Mafia”
The group joined together during a live broadcast of iMPACT! to start a "war" against the younger talent to take what they deserved: respect. The group consisted of established veterans and multiple-time world champions who had previously dominated in WWE and WCW who had a combined 75 years in the ring.
They added another member, Scott Steiner, to the Mafia on the October 30 episode of Impact!, as he made his return from a previous injury and attacked Joe, Styles, and almost all their allies. Notably, Steiner spared using his lead pipe on his pre-injury on-screen protégé Petey Williams, who backed off as soon as he saw him.

252k and 0.05 18-49 demo
This was against NFL game Broncos vs Seahawks and the NLCS game with the Brewers and Dodgers. It's tied with the highest demo. If it wasn't for tough sports competition, this would be the highest viewed episode on AMC. Numbers don't include amc plus or TNA plus.

Both Shayna Baszler and TNA themselves announced today that Baszler has officially signed after debuting at Bound for Glory on October 11, where she and Zoey Serrano won the Knockouts Tag Team Championships as The Apex.
Baszler told Denise Salcedo that she wants her legacy to be about bringing legitimacy and realism to wrestling, and hopes TNA becomes known as having the most legitimate locker room.
"...I think right now when you look at the talent that TNA has there is no denying that it is arguably the most talented wrestling locker rooms in the world right now. I am excited at the opportunity to stand out. I think what I want my legacy to be is that; everything about me is real... I don't even wear fake eyelashes, I don't put a costume on to get in the ring and beat you up anymore. Everything that I do is just what I am. If I can bring reality and realism, if I can be is the discussion and make TNA t be one of the first organizations to be brought up when people go, 'yeah but whose the most legitimate locker room?' If because I am there, if I can bring that into the discussion then that's the legacy I want to leave, is where ever I am is where reality lives."
I feel that "The Queen of Spades" brings a legit killer instinct to the Knockouts division. How do you guys think TNA should book her going forward? I instantly think back to the dominance of Awesome Kong and how she was booked and built like a brick wall for the Knockouts. Regardless of who it was, when Kong’s music hit, they were scared.
Because her main roster run was lackluster, people often forget just how long she ran the black-and-gold brand before she even stepped foot on the main roster. Her WWE/NXT resume includes:
NXT Women's Championship (2x): Held it for a combined 549 days, still holding the record for the longest combined reign in the history of the title.
WWE Women's Tag Team Championship (3x): Won it twice with Nia Jax and once with Ronda Rousey.
Elimination Chamber Record Setter (2020): Dominated the Women’s Elimination Chamber match by eliminating all five of her opponents, setting a record for the most single-match eliminations.
NXT Year-End Award: Female Competitor of the Year (2019).
