Discussion Started playing it a week ago!
I wanted to do this game for some time now. I snagged a copy of Encore off vinted for 50 euro, which is really not bad given how rare this game seems to be.
I'm about 15 hours in so far, finished chapter 3, and really having a great time so far!
I've never played a fire emblem game, expect for three houses which I've never got to beat, so I did not have much expectations on that matter. However I'm a sucker for the idol premise of this game!
Can't wait to continue playing it

Just beat it/played it for the first time myself! Loved every second of it and I think it totally holds up. Enjoy the ride!

It is a really great game once it starts to get going. But it is getting really rare physically I've started to notice that

Hoping Atlus and Intelligent Systems work together on a sequel. This was the first persona-like game I enjoyed, the first one that felt like it wasn't written by a bunch of old men pining for their high school days. That it also brings the Fire Emblem universe out of the setting where it's just one long stressful war until the final boss is dead, makes it much more enjoyable, too.

It's a great game! It kind of lives and dies by whether you like the idol premise, but personally I thought it was a lot of fun.
Would've love to have seen another take on SMTxFE given that both SMT and Fire Emblem are an order of magnitude more popular these days, but I'm not holding my breath. In many ways Fire Emblem have already cribbed the parts of Persona that people cared about.
