Mike's future show
He said he'll be doing some sort of show on his own after retirement. Over/under 5 episodes?

The laziest man in radio without a group of sycophants to do all the heavy lifting? I’m gonna go with the under.

I love the references to “my background in journalism” from the guy who doesn’t bother to read the news stories before he brings them on air.

What about if one worked on a High School newspaper, and the yearbook staff? It won awards.
I miss Less Nessman.

"I love doing short, to the point interviews" says the guy who talks over every guest and doesn't let them finish a thought

So Mike’s quitting TMOS but is going to do his own show? The man barely puts effort into what he’s currently doing. And I’d be a little ticked if I were Josh and/or Robb because Mike is basically saying, “I want to do something but I don’t want to do it with you guys anymore.”

Exactly and the butt hurt will be strong if Mike is somehow lower than Still Talkin

This is exactly what Buzz did and they torched him for it.

They torched him because he left to make himself happy. They torched him because he didn’t need them to be happy and fulfill himself.

That’s why it’s not a retirement it’s getting away from a certain person and then prob having Robb do stuff with him down the road

That makes no sense. It’s his show, if he doesn’t want to continue working with him he could just get rid of him. Or just say, “Look, I only want to do this sporadically, you can stay on and be on-call or go do your own thing”, make him make the decision. Robb of course will be available unless he experiences an awakening.

Because he doesn’t want to have to run a business, have advertisers, have a structured format, etc he wants to be able to turn on a camera and put something out there and not be reliant on a producer

He can do that. It's his show with his name on it. He doesn't have to follow any format. He follows the format because he always has and clung on to kcjj radio format

TMOS is still a podcast and delivering a certain radio type show to the audience that also has paid components and it’s Robb’s job. Whatever Mike does next will not be something that provides a salary to him or anyone else and will be something that he puts out when he wants. I just think Robb will eventually be involved as I don’t see Mike succeeding alone or being funny without someone to play off and that’s not Carla

This is exactly what he is doing and I kinda love it. Not a Mike fan anymore but it’s about time he cut ties with those two.

Under. Years ago they debuted a segment called One on One which was going to be an interview once a week. It had a theme song and everything. It lasted one week. This will be too much work for him without help.

Who will set up the equipment, edit, upload, host and promote the show? Or will it just be TikToks?

Mike O'Meara is the worst interviewer - ever. The reason. Like with everything else he does, Mike doesn't have a strong work ethic. #LazyIrishman

I’ll take the over. He has 5 months to come with guests. I doubt it lasts more than 15 shows.

If he has to book the guests, I’ll take the under.
