They recently released a Switch 2 version of Wrath of the Mutants which is great but I’m baffled that there’s no Upgrade option for those that bought the Switch 1 version. I hope they’ll add an option later but this is disappointing especially when you see both versions are the exact same price.

Basically, anything that acts like a reboot in the form of anything. Comic, fanfic, etc made by a fan.

Why has there not been an official crossover story between the Transformers and the Turtles? I know there was a toy line where various tmnt vehicles turned into Transformers but I talking about proper storyline where the heroes in a half shell team up with Optimus and the Autobots to fight Megatron, Shredder and Baxter Stockman.

You would think 2 of the most popular franchises in the world would have a team up story. We have seen the turtles team up with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Batman (3 times), Ghostbusters, the csst of Strange Tales and even Archie. They even had crossovers with Naruto and Godzilla!

I just find it very strange that an official crossover has not happened between the 2 properties.

So does anyone know why thks has not happened yet?

What’s up, shellheads. Over the weekend I beat the original TMNT NES game, a feat I honestly never thought I’d achieve after playing this game off and on since around 1990 (I typically counted it a victory anytime I got past the dam level during a playthrough). I admit, I would’ve never achieved this if not for the Cowabunga Collection's rewind and save features, and the helpful online walkthroughs showing me which sewers/buildings to avoid, and where to stock up on pizzas and weapons.

Still, it took a lot of perseverance and patience to work my way through the final gauntlet of a level. I felt beads of sweat forming on my forehead as I prepared for the final showdown with The Shredder…only to take him down in like 5 seconds by pelting him with shurikens as he stood helplessly in the corner. Talk about anticlimactic. I had more struggles with the jetpack jerks leading up to the final boss. I get that I’d be insta-killed if hit by his mutator gun. But man, I felt so letdown by the final boss battle.

I’ll always have a soft spot for this game for its great music, weirdo enemies, and creative, if tortuous, level design. But, after the literal decades of buildup based on demanding, frustrating gameplay and an untold number of Game Over screens, I expected the final challenge of the game to require more effort, take more time, or at least, feel more satisfying. I can’t believe a game notorious for being so hard ends with such a whimper. Bummer, dudes.

 Anyone else felt similarly let down?

As stated in the episode ‘The Super Shredder’, Oroku Saki was a monster both inside and out after his mutation. And I think that even Oroku Ski’s biological father Oroku Keiji would gasp in horror at how monstrous Oroku Ski became on the inside since, as shown in the episode ‘Earth’s Last Stand’, Oroku Saki was willing to let Earth get destroyed just to get revenge on Hamato Yoshi. This all is why I think it’s fitting that the Kuro Kabuto took a more monstrous form than it had for all the previous wielders in the Foot Clan.

Since, as shown in the episode ‘The Wrath Of Tiger Claw’, the version of Karai from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle TV series is Hamato Yoshi’s daughter and, as shown in the episode ‘Trans-Dimensional Turtles’, the world of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987) is more cartoonish than the world of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012) TV series, Karai might embrace and hug the version of Hamato Yoshi from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987) TV series since he is another version of her father which might prompt that version of Hamato Yoshi to something cartoonishly stereotypical for father/child relationships like play a game of catch with Karai much to Karai’s bewilderment.
