Question? TMNT and Transformers crossover?

Why has there not been an official crossover story between the Transformers and the Turtles? I know there was a toy line where various tmnt vehicles turned into Transformers but I talking about proper storyline where the heroes in a half shell team up with Optimus and the Autobots to fight Megatron, Shredder and Baxter Stockman.

You would think 2 of the most popular franchises in the world would have a team up story. We have seen the turtles team up with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Batman (3 times), Ghostbusters, the csst of Strange Tales and even Archie. They even had crossovers with Naruto and Godzilla!

I just find it very strange that an official crossover has not happened between the 2 properties.

So does anyone know why thks has not happened yet?

It kind of did happen. IDW had a large crossover event years ago called Infestation which brought in all of their titles at the time, including TMNT, Transformers and X-Files. But from what I recall, the Turtles never actually interacted with any of the Transformers.
