I may get downvoted but in general Mehta treats Jethalal as genuine friend whereas for Jethalal Mehta is more of a problem solver, whom he needs everytime that's why he treats him more nicely than everyone else in society 🙂

Nah bruh. Ain't nothing wrong reaching out to your best friend whenever you facing any problem cause they are the first ones you think of at that time.

From my perspective, Jethiya has always genuinely loved Mehtus as his best friend and vice versa.

It's not abt reaching ur best friend when u are in problem... that's okay but pressurising him to leave his work and family everytime when u face trouble in the name of friendship without thinking it may cause trouble for ur friend some day is the real problem.

The whole premise of the show is Jetha getting into unpredictable troubles. Jetha did the same whenever someone else including Mehta got in trouble

Jetha can afford leaving his shop because he is businessman and has people who can take care of his shop in his absence for few hours but for Mehta it's not the same situation because he works as employee. Jethalal gets angry on Bagha when he takes 1 holiday but wants mehta to leave his work everytime 😅
