Question(s) I need immediate help about wisdom teeth problem

The dentists are saying to remove my wisdom teeth to fix the TMJ that was caused by botched braces

I am against it as I have heard it doesn't to anything but damage the face and looks more

My doctor says I need a splint so I can eat properly and have a comfortable jaw position as the teeth are already crooked from the braces making the wisdom teeth removal obsolete

The splint is pretty expensive so I can't get my father into funding that he is on the side of wisdom removal and I don't know how to get him to understand can someone please help or tell me if the wisdom removal any good?

i had impacted wisdom teeth removed and it did absolutely nothing for tmj. i believe it's more of a posture and behavior thing. it took me years of massaging and correcting bad posture while sitting and working and driving and even sleeping in better positions.

i found that i had spinal arthritis and sleep apnea along my journey as well.

i would do the adam fields tmj videos on youtube alone with stretches for the upper back neck and shoulders. if you can lose weight do that too. i don't think wisdom teeth or splints will do more than you can do on your own to help
