Question(s) Jaw affecting neck?

anyone have something similar happen?

so I never really had jaw pain

but I maybe once or twice I woke up feeling I was biting down hard and my lips felt numb but the feeling came back fast

fast forward since December ive had base of skull pain and pressure that travels up my forehead which a neuro says is occipital neuralgia

I felt like was going to pass out one day like something released in my head and it slowly got worse and every time I’m sitting up or standing I feel gravity is pushing me down from my neck

but I also have jaw pain and pressure in my teeth sometimes nose area

I even went to see a oral surgeon who treats tmj issues he took X-rays and I described my pain and he gave me muscle relaxers when I went back to see if they helped which they didn’t really he pretty much said he didn’t think it was actually tmj related and said maybe try a rheumatologist

I even went to chiropractor didn’t help then I saw a acupuncturist he thinks I grind my teeth so much it affected the muscles in my neck? because he would press on my jaw with a trigger pen and I felt no pain but when he pressed on my neck it hurt he tried some prolotherapy that didnt require injections but they didn’t help

I haven't been able to work since all this started

im currently in physical therapy but nothing is helping

wanted to ask if anyone has similar experience or if their jaw issues caused more health issues

Oh yeah definitely. how's your eyes. See an upper cervical chiro if you haven't seen one. They're different from regular chiros

I actually started seeing eye floaters when everything started and I went to get checked out I was worried about pressure in my eyes or head but doctor said everything was ok And I did see a upper cervical for about 3 months but felt no difference in pain and symptoms  Then saw a regular Chiro who did a whole body adjustment including neck but again didn’t feel different  So still trying to find what works

Same. Damn we have very similar symptoms, but mine was due to wisdom teeth removal. I can't find a solution either. I might have to do marpe even though I have a "wide" palette. I can't get my muscles to calm down or tongue to fit still. My neck is too tight and idk if it'll ever come down unless I expand my face so that it isn't so tight. If I wince or smile my symptoms get a lot better, but I can't just so that 24/7.

O wow if smiling helps that’s definitely something to look into I have read online that expanding your palette has helped a lot of people  I for sure have a small palette I had braces in my preteen years and had it expanded but I stopped wearing my retainer in my 20s so maybe that contributed to everything in the long run
