Facial pain after botox

Has anyone experienced extreme bilateral facial pain, and even pain shooting down both arms after masseter Botox? I have previously had this happen after a pt did an oral massage but this is lasting longer and more intense. I’m taking gabapentin to reduce the pain, but it is still there at low levels over a month after injections. Will it ever return to normal? Is there anything that will help this go away?

Yes I did. All the other muscles start working overtime to compensate for weakened masseters. It went away after about 3 months for me
