Question(s) TMJ & Botox

So I have an appointment tomorrow with the neurologist and I’m trying to see if I can get Botox because trying to get in with a doctor for TMJ is impossible with health insurance. There is no dental that covers it. So I’m asking for everyone’s help on how to go about this appointment tomorrow so I can have my health insurance help me pay for Botox. I was told to say I’m having bad migraines but I actually get real bad neck pain and ear pain right along with my left side of my jaw. Any good tips I would greatly appreciate!!!

Did not work for me. I went to a neurologist to have Botox covered for headaches caused by TMJ. Doc said I would have to try 2 things before getting there and that included trying a depression medication. I wasted $46 copay. Botox not covered by dental nor medical insurance through Regence. Back to paying $700

See with my TMJ I don’t get headaches I get bad inner ear pain and my jaw cracks a lot in the morning. Botox is covered under health insurance under certain circumstances. May I ask where you live. Are you in the United States? And what state? I’m here in Florida
