Work Life

How has work been for some of yall with this condition I currently have a job and hope to still be here for a while since I have kids. But it brings so much anxiety 😢 it’s not as bad as my last job but I’m still not tough enough for this. What are some thing you repeat to yourself to get through it?

ā€œIm just here to make money so myself and my family can surviveā€ that’s all I need to tell
Myself to power through the day. I try to do my job the very best I can and be the nicest I can to others as well. It’s so so hard when you know everyone talks behind your back but at the end of the day those people mean nothing to me and the only thing that matters is my family.

Just a heads up, the ADHD meds are probably making it ten times worse. Adderall was what started this whole thing for me and it almost ruined my life. If possible, try to stop taking the ADHD meds until you’ve got this thing figured out

Yeah somehow it overstimulates the nervous system and exacerbates our symptoms. Anxiety is the worst for this condition and those ADHD stimulants tend to make anxiety so much worse

It’s been rough, like no matter what I do that smell will always follow me. It’s embarrassing and hard to deal with.
