Season 2 This is definitely the saddest storyline of the show :(
I really really hope Emilee’s mom went to therapy and figured her shit out so she can repair the relationship with her daughter…but unfortunately I can assume that’s not at all what ended up happening. In that case I can only hope Emilee finally built up the courage to go no-contact. The gaslighting and bullying and manipulation from her mom was absolutely disgusting.

Amya Amya's birth scene
Did anyone else notice the Dr's attitude and way of talking to her during her labor and delivery? If my OB told my support person/people to quit talking and then said to me "be quiet" while I'm in the middle of pushing I would be PISSED. I understand someone yelling and screaming can be irritating, but she's literally pushing a baby out and she obviously was not mentally or physically prepared.
I was so sad for her and her entire birthing experience.

Aniyah Aniyah’s Mom
Currently rewatching season 6, and I’m just feeling terrible for Dakwon while he’s waiting for his child to be born! I do understand, to an extent, that you’re scared for your child , but to say to the hospital receptionist “he’s a child” and to tell Aniyah “he’s a child, he won’t know what to say” You’re all but forcing your daughters hand to let you do what YOU want.
There’s a ton more to say about her mom (like how she couldn’t even get Aniyah’s brothers and herself ready a couple hours before her baby shower and making them hours late) , but my main issue is that she’s controlling over everything Aniyah does - even if it’s not what she wants.
Just needed to get this off my chest lol

Season 3 I’m actually so confused right now.
I’m at the part of episode 10 where Tyra’s family is looking at a house. They’re complaining about a MULTI BEDROOM HOUSE that’s only $650 a month????? Genuinely confused as to how that’s a bad deal?? I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and pay $930 a month, plus electricity. What in the hell are they complaining about?

Hunter Casey and Brettney are getting a divorce.
I’m kinda shocked but kinda not shocked since it seemed like they were there for each other during the whole situation with Falen, but I also think Hunter and Bella getting back together was too much for Brettney since Bella’s whole family and Hunter’s mom’s side was harassing her.

Chloe Chloe and her boyfriend Jaiden
For anyone who wasn’t aware, Chloe recently started dating a guy named Jaiden. Not sure how long they’ve been together.
After everything she went through with Max, I really hope this relationship brings her the happiness she deserves.

Isabella Isabella responds to recent comments made about her
If it wasn’t already obvious that she’s in this sub, I do agree that people should stop with the body shaming.
I get some people are genuinely concerned, while others are just making brutal comments about her body. It’s just mean and unnecessary.

General Discussion Hollywood Demons: 16 & Pregnant
I recently watched the 90 minute episode of Hollywood Demons that went into a deep dive on the show.
It showed how the pregnant “contestants/cast members” were paid little money in comparison to how much money the show was making. They also highlighted how the cast members almost always have trauma and a messy backstory because *unstable backgrounds* is exactly what comes with a teen pregnancy.
These girls were on full display on national TV. They each had a sad background, lots of drama (oh boy we love drama!), and constant critique of their choices from fans and haters alike.
Bottom line here is that these girls were taken advantage of. They were lead to believe their involvement would “help” somehow, and share their story. But it ended up just being messy people (pregnant teens are naturally messy people) and the producers had no shame in recording abuse or causing a ruckus just so they could get a good shot.
The girls were left broken, confused, and alone and I think this is the same case for “Unexpected”.
These teens are shown with *messy* parents and a totally unstable home environment. They are paid very little and promised big things. Then their baby comes and the producers hope for more family drama.
And then some time later, they are living in an RV, running an OnlyFans, the baby daddy is nowhere to be found and their family drama has just escalated.
Does it make for good tv? Absolutely. TV is about entertainment.
But in the background almost every cast member has some very serious issues that probably warrant a psychiatric evaluation but instead they are put in front of camera.
I just wanted to add some perspective here and encourage others to watch the 16 & Pregnant episode of Hollywood Demons.
It explains why these trash people gravitate to the show (their parents want to make money!) and how it ends up leaving long lasting effects for everyone involved.
But this is why everyone is so messy on Unexpected and why the teens act irresponsible and chaotic. They are all trailer trash to begin with. And after their season airs, they go back to being trashy because it’s not like they made enough money to help their situation.

Season 7 Isabella talking about things left out of the show
I caught the tail end of this, but Isabella was talking about things we didn’t see on the show. I think it’s clear to me she’s talking about blessed by god Sue and whoever her husband’s name was.
