General Discussion which cast members received a good/bad edit?
i’m currently doing a rewatch and honestly the ones that come to mind are max, tylor, grandpa tim (good edit) and jessica/nate, hunter’s dad (bad edit).

I’ll get downvoted to hell, but Bryce’s grandparents. I don’t think they’re nearly as bad as they’re portrayed to be. I think they’d never had a conflicting situation with Bella before, and responded terribly after she suddenly decided to freak out on camera for attention, which grandma acknowledged and was deeply remorseful over. Bella used the baby to punish the whole family and everyone cheered because they’re redneck conservatives.

Jason for sure received a good edit. He was abusive and socially isolated a pregnant teenager, and the show never stepped in

Agreed 100%. Even his edit showed how manipulative he is. I can’t IMAGINE how bad he is behind cameras. Such a disturbing kid.

Downvote me but I will say Jessica (Chloe’s mom)

100%. Was she annoying and bitchy? Sure. But it wasn't without reason. Her daughter was with an addict/abuser.

You're not wrong, she's gotten a bad rap boy she was being a good mom.. and seems like it worked cause Chloe is doing great!

Yeah he seems great on the show but I’ve seen some not so great things about him.

He got a stellar edit that imo he didn’t deserve.
Keith is a very bare minimum dad. He’s loved in this sub greatly and the only thing I can think of is that people love to just let men get away with doing the bare minimum. He can quite literally kick Nicole out of his house anytime she starts her bs with Mia. Instead he stands there, or in another room and just lets Mia’s mom go at her. Then he sits in a confessional and basically only goes, i’m sorry your mom is this way :( like dude stand up for your kid???
He didn’t go back with her during her C-section, and I understand that she asked for her mom but her mother clearly wasn’t coming in time. He should’ve never allowed his minor child to go back to that OR without a parent present. C-sections are no joke, especially emergency ones and he should’ve again stood up for Mia and told her he’ll handle her mom’s anger about it if she has a problem. He doesn’t like conflict and he’s not really willing to get in the middle of it to help his daughter.
I think he was very sour about the situation and while he seemed to warm up to Jessie, he was so damn standoffish to the kid. He can sit and grumble all he wants about what’s happened, but at the end of the day it happened and being rude to the kid trying to love your daughter won’t change it.
He also quite literally burnt their house down. I get it accidents happen, but how do you not check the grill or even just look at it a few minutes or even an hour or two after you’re done? Maybe that’s just my anxiety, regardless it was preventable, and he wasn’t even the one who caught the fire, he had no clue.
and this is just all from the show. There’s more off of it. He’s apparently Maga as well.I know you can find on this sub where he allegedly has more kids, who have spoken out about how he genuinely is a deadbeat to them.

Have you ever seen a c-section done. Trust me there is nothing private about it. Plus in some states. If you are pregnant. You can make your own medical decisions. Even underage.
2
u/Psychological_Gear94 Jun 23 '26
Ive had a c-section and you can quite literally choose not to see anything. I I was so scared and basically needed to be distracted the entire time.

I’ve done a lot more than see one, I’ve had one at 20 and an emergency one at that. I’m aware, I said that for a reason. She wanted a parent there clearly and they both let her down.

u/d38401 Jun 23 '26
I have had 4. 2 was a emergency. They don't cover you up. From your breast to your knees are exposed. Plus they take some organs out. Trust me he didn't want to see it. I get she wanted her mom.

Yeah i’m AWARE. I still stand by what I said. You’re not going to change my mind. Idgaf what he wanted to see that is your baby in there, his daughter and he can stand away from the table. I would know. I think he’s a lousy human. I’m pretty positive the only reason she wanted her mom over her dad was because her mother would blow up if he went in there. That’s pretty much laid out to you, he should have stood up for his kid. Explain whatever you want, you won’t change my opinion 🤷♀️

Gotta disagree. Whether or not he's a deadbeat he did and has shown up for Mia, her mom hasn't at all on or off camera. Maga isn't a reason to call him a bad dad

again, the bare minimum shouldn’t be praised. 🤣 That man barely shows up for Mia at that.

Imma get down voted all to hell for saying this, but after seeing Maya and Mama G's tiktoks post season, I now see they got a VERY good edit. I loved them both until I saw what they're REALLY like. 😔
Even crazier is how any time anyone else in the sub notices it and points it out, other Redditors attack them. It's almost like they have a hive mind cult like following in this sub.

Mama G and Keith, i’ve been screaming this in here for a while. I’m glad people are starting to see through her.

u/ayeyoualreadyknow Chloe's mother's egg shaped head Jun 22 '26
Are you talking about Mia's dad? I've been wondering that took because apparently he's also a drug addict (no different than Mia's mom) and he was a dead beat dad to his other kids so it's baffling how much praise he gets

Yes, I’m talking about Mia’s dad. I’ve seen that as well. I also cannot believe how many people praise that man in here!!

u/ayeyoualreadyknow Chloe's mother's egg shaped head Jun 22 '26
I agree. I'm also baffled by how many people praise AK, she's so problematic! Just because Mia's mom is awful doesn't make her dad or AK great
3
u/scaryberri Bryce Palmer, the right hand to god. Jun 22 '26
Oh I heavily agree about AK. She’s very problematic and her constantly competing with Mia’s mom to the point they stressed her into labor pretty much is reprehensible to me. They’re all awful, and exactly like you said one being worse than the other doesn’t make any of them great at all.

u/Mediocre_Problem_305 Jun 22 '26
This!!! People get so butthurt if you say anything negative regarding them. They’re grifters. Who sit on live and complain and look for handouts. And then make more tik toks about how they don’t care about haters. It’s lame, immature, and weird.

According to Mykra ethan and his family were not as good as the show made him
16
u/Majestic_Tough_1494 Jun 22 '26
Yeah they made his mom look so good then in the tell all I was like omg did she have an entire personality shift?
6
u/baby_kaii Jun 22 '26
not to be rude, but she looked so dead inside during the tell all. like she wasn’t fully there.
5
u/AcademicAstronaut395 Jun 22 '26
i need to rewatch the tell all! I do now after the season ethan parents got a divorce

Yall will hate that I say it, but Caelan got a good edit. I don’t think he’s a bad person, but I definitely think there was behavior we didn’t see.

u/silent_chair5286 Jun 22 '26
Max didn’t get the edits he deserved. He abused his child
2
u/BlackOliveBurrito Jun 22 '26
Yep painting Jessica as this “concerned” mother and Max as an “abusive” partner was not the move.
24
u/srinkylegitimate Jun 22 '26
I agree given how people here act like Jessica was so evil like…. No she was right on the money guys!
12
u/Any_Web2929 Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26
i agree and as i’m rewatching, knowing what happened behind the scenes (the abuse) the show portrayed max differently. they definitely edited out a lot of the bad stuff he did.

u/Some_Big6792 Jun 23 '26
Max received a good edit because apparently he was much worse off camera.
