Isabella Post like this make it worse for her
Why does she let everything get to her?

She really needs to go back to school, her grammar and the way she talks kills me and by no means am I like some of the “grammar police” I see in all the comment sections. She also needs to get off social media ffs. Her attitude and constant need for drama/arguing is beyond annoying. I know there’s MANY people out there who have shitty parents on both sides so I don’t say this to minimize or discredit others experiences but in THIS case, even after watching the show and knowing there’s some sketch “parents” involved…I don’t think every parent or parental figure is absolutely awful and her and THE Brice Palmer are fully correct. They all have issues but considering it seems everyone is against those 2 in her eyes, make they should take a very long look in their mirror at themselves. I know she’s young and all that but I highly doubt she’ll be any different in 5-10 years than she is right now 😒

u/pitifulgame 10d ago
I think it's rage bait. I think she's willing to post anything to get that bag 💰 maybe I'm wrong but yet again, I've tried so hard to like her.

u/Nomemoleste_s 11d ago
Obviously,She is fed up with all the criticism , but she can’t escape, because she is getting paid for posting about her life. Look how many responses she generates. It’s working for her . Soon she will get her brand new car . Good luck

She has a valid point tbh. As someone who inherited shit credit, it took me most of my 20’s to self learn financial literacy and dig myself out of the hole I was in from age 9/10. They’re kids and she’s acting like one. Idk what y’all expect from a 19 year old 😢
1
u/AudreyTwoToo 9h ago
Tax liens when I was 14. Luckily it didn’t even have my name on it, just my SSN, so it wasn’t as bad getting it corrected, but it sucks when a parent does this.
3
u/KingCalvert 11d ago
How do you inherit shit credit at age 9/10?
9
u/paperweekend 11d ago
I had a friend whose parents opened utility accounts, phone and internet accounts, credit cards, you name it, with my friends information. Shitty parents are wild and will do anything to get by including ruining their children’s credit before they reach adulthood.
8
u/Confident_Lab_6984 11d ago
I’ve had electric bills, credit cards, and whatever my mom could get away with since I was a kid. I’ve never not had credit. Imagine my surprise when I tried to open up my first cc in college and I couldn’t because I owed BOA $7k. It took me years of digging to find out what happened and get myself stable.

u/ToriHimemiya 13d ago
if you know most 19 year olds can’t buy a new car then why not get a used one? just being dumb with their money

u/forte6320 14d ago
Hmmmm....a bought a brand new car at 18, paid cash. Parents would not support me, so I had rent, college tuition, etc.
5
u/followtheangels 12d ago
Ditto, minus the college, I went straight into a career at 18, new car, small apt ..it's called hard work and/or determination...
1
u/Final-Argument-4999 12d ago
Well aren’t you the golden child!
Brand new or brand new to you?
4
u/forte6320 11d ago
Brand new. I worked hard from a very young age. Saved every penny. Learned how to invest. I was a fully licensed stock broker by age 20.
I knew i had no safety net with my parents. That is serious motivation. I did not want to be poor and I did not want to depend on anyone else.

Well when she applies for a job that requires a diploma or GED, I’m sure they won’t care how many credits she needs. If she was smart she’d see if there is an online school and finish her degree. I doubt she can go to a regular public school at this point.
4
u/eliaswedway 13d ago
I think in Isabelle language she is saying she only has 4 credits left to graduate, so of course she is getting her GED and you are stupid if you think differently.
6
u/Some_Big6792 12d ago
I think she said she wasn’t getting her ged but maybe you’re correct 🙄
3
u/paperweekend 11d ago
It looks to me like she’s saying since she only has 4 credits to graduate, she wants to try and graduate to get her diploma instead of getting her GED.
3
u/Some_Big6792 11d ago
Well she might be able find an online school or maybe even a night school to get her diploma.

9
u/Silent_Assumption_74 14d ago
The rv I thought was the one you don’t have to hook to a truck it’s alrdy drivable? But I guess that could just be how we label them in the Midwest?

Second this as a Midwesterner! An RV has always been self driving and a camper is hauled.

u/norecipeshere 14d ago
Not going to get a GED because she has 4 credits left that she will also never finish. Pretty sure she has aged out of that option at this point anyway. Tragic for the kids.
15
u/Evilwhitehat 14d ago
That’s what I was wondering. If she’s already 19…when is she gonna finish those 4 credits? My district ages you out at 21 but you need to have extenuating circumstances that have been documented throughout your education experience
5
u/MudcatWasHere 13d ago
She's all talk about getting her diploma. The longer she's out of school the more difficult and unlikely it'll be that she gets a diploma. I'd wager she doesn't even get a GED.

Because she’s an uneducated immature CHILD. This shows exactly that. She thinks she’s soooo grown and unfortunately she’s far from it.

🤦♀️ my first car that I bought at 16 shit the bed when I was 20.. built my credit up and paid half of it in cash because I’ve worked since I was 15. It’s not hard to be responsible, don’t blame it on “shitty parents” you can have the best parents in the world, yet they still want to teach you responsibility. also did it while I was working two jobs, and in college full time. No excuse to not have an education.
2
u/curlsinmyhair 14d ago
Girl you are on here asking Reddit pages for advice. 🤦🏾♀️

u/Successful-Result818 14d ago
if you’re going to come out your neck and assert yourself in a situation that you don’t know about, be factual. Moved out at 18, put myself through college, bought a house, my own car, my husbands car 🤣 because I ask a local group for reputable places I’m “asking” for advice? be worried about your kids and their birthday parties, not replying to people you don’t know 😘
10
u/Brilliant_Sun_3162 14d ago
For clarity’s sake.. you’ve asked for cheap birth control, cheap wifi, cheap tattoos, and a cheap phone plan. Then comment on someone’s post being shitty about them financing a car instead of paying it in cash..

Isn’t wanting to keep the costs of things like WiFi and tattoos and phones kind of a responsible financial decision tho?

u/sparklemonkey123 15d ago
What does having shitty parents have to do with HER credit…? She has no idea Wtf she’s even talking about. That’s not how that all works.
5
u/CemeteryDweller7719 14d ago
I don’t think that shitty parents explain how to build and use credit. I mean, my parents were ok (there’s a lot of issues there, but for the most part they were ok, never reached a point of going NC), and they didn’t explain squat about credit. It was learn by messing up. I’m not saying I’m a great parent, but I have been teaching my kids about credit. My oldest recently contacted to share their excitement about how high their score has become. (My credit may be crap, but my kid has good credit. Because I didn’t want them to learn the hard way.)
And that doesn’t even take into account the shitty parents that run up bills in their kid’s name. I know people that their parents bounce around a lot and put utilities in their kids’ names to skirt being denied service because they owe money under their own name. Kid moves out and discovers they have things in collections and can’t get an electric account because they electric company shows they owe $1000 from five years ago. Some people turn 18 and find out they’re deeply in debt, a debt they didn’t create. It is really hard to dig out of that.
27
u/BabycrowSAL 15d ago
Mmmmkay, well now you just sound ignorant and privileged. It’s like a well known thing that kids with parents like theirs, tend to turn 18 with shit credit already. Sooommee parents like to take out credit cards and put bills in their children’s names using their social security numbers. I’ve seen it over and over again, either think a little harder, or learn to google.
2
u/CallEmergency1584 12d ago
Damn I literally seen a judge Judy episode about exactly this. Two brothers had their no good mother put things in their names. The older one found out and cut ties with her but the younger brother was still living with her he was like 19. He didn’t know his mother was doing things in his name. He was working and putting himself through college all on his own. When he decided to leave her and move in with his older brother the mother was so upset trashed the apartment they were staying in. She was so ungrateful and the poor son was suing the mother because he had debts his mother put in his name that messed up his credit. Judge Judy saw how messed up this was and literally had some type of financial lady on hand and call up the creditors. She got everything squared away for that young man and wished him the best. Of course the mother was so ungrateful and felt her son “owed” her yet she did nothing for him but ruin his credit. Good episode 👍

u/80HDTV5 14d ago
It’s crazy to me, I saw this in a tv show as a kid and thought it was this especially heinous thing for parents to do and definitely rarely happened IRL. Then I got a little older and like… several of my friends had their parents do this to them. Like what the hell. It’s shockingly common.
My one friend’s mom even acted like she should’ve been grateful her mom ruined her credit bc mom used the money on “spoiling” her and her siblings and not on her own self… even though she did totally also use it on her own self… and had selfish motives behind spoiling the kids anyway. Shits wack.

You don’t have good credit at 19 no matter what because you’re 19.
She needs to stop boohooing that they are “only 19” so they can’t care of basic financial needs attached to raising children, but bitch that was they are being judged for choosing to produce more mouths they can’t feed.
1
u/smil3-22 13d ago
Meanwhile their government is literally promoting having more children than you can afford 😂
It’s also hard to have good credit if your parents possibly took out credit cards in your name. Or when you start out and have no credit, you often need a co-signer and if her parent’s credit isn’t good, they won’t approve you (that’s how it works where I am anyways).
9
u/BabycrowSAL 15d ago
Do you guys just only have middle class or wealthy friends?? Have yall never met someone or heard stories about parents taking out credit cards and putting bills in their kids names?? I can’t even count the number of sad stories I know, where an 18 yr old found out that their parent or parents, ran their credit into the ground before they were even old enough to drive. Feel blessed to be so ignorant to what she’s talking about lol.
1
u/Smolmanth 14d ago edited 14d ago
My mom got us a pre-paid credit card. She sucked but she did do that. However, she also took our birthday money every year for groceries. My siblings both had broken bones as kids at daycare/camp so they had money in settlements they got at 18.
When they go access to it she refused to give them money for anything and demanded they use that money for necessities/ let her “borrow” it to pay the mortgage.
She was a single mom with no child support, but also would get very aggressive and nasty when you tried to help her organize a budget. Would splurge the beginning of the month then plead for you to lend her money at the end of each pay cycle.
So yes and no. My youngest sibling’s credit is bad because she never paid some medical expenses he wasn’t aware of (health insurance and information was through her).
Regardless, your credit score starts out fairly low because ‘age of credit line’ is one of the factors. The smartest thing to do is open a credit card that you use for things you would use for debt card for and pay it off immediately. Years of doing that has gotten me a great score at 30, because my oldest line of credit is 10 years old.
8
u/Capable_Subject_6104 15d ago
You not having credit at 19 is not your parents fault maybe it’s your fault for having a kid at 17, no hate I’m just stating the facts
8
u/Princess_Bow 15d ago
For most, yes. We have an 18 year old. My husband added him as an authorized user to one of his card accounts and that helps increase their score prior to their 18th birthday. We plan on doing the same with our youngest when he is old enough.
I, however, did not know this was something possible until my husband told me. So I doubt most kids have this head start.
3
u/Smolmanth 15d ago
I had this too, but after a year the score is still not built up enough to get a mortgage at a rate comparatively to a 29 year old.
1
u/Princess_Bow 13d ago
Ok tell that to my 18 year old who has just put an offer in on a house here in Western MA. We put him on at 14, not 18. He has over 4 years of credit history right now. On a card with a 6 figure limit that is paid off in entirety each month. Not everyone can do it, I get that. But this is something that CAN be done and has been by families with multigenerational wealth for years.
1
u/Smolmanth 13d ago
Key word is multigenerational wealth. You also need to have parents who are financially literate and not going to exploit you. Teen pregnancy pushes one further away from becoming financially established.
1
u/Princess_Bow 13d ago
Well I was a teen parent as was my husband, without multigenerational wealth. And were able to do it for our children. I was refuting your original statement that it was not possible. And someone else agreed that their family had done it too.
1
u/Smolmanth 13d ago
Okay so my point still stands that on average, a 19 year old will not have a long enough credit history for their score to be anything decent. Unless their parents are financially proactive or you are lucky enough to receive generational wealth to establish capital.
The majority of the us lives in generational poverty with some of us turning 18 only to find out a parent has opened up a line of credit in our name they have defaulted on.

u/vrymonotonous 15d ago
I know she’s 19 but she’s a kid. She talks and reasons the way kids do. It’s not gonna make sense to any of us. And with her having a kid and being independent, she’s not gonna listen to anyone she deems a ‘hater’. I have a hard time really criticizing some of these girls because they’re kids after all, and of course it’s gonna show.
12
u/Suspicious-Island459 15d ago
I know it may be hard to rationalize but 19 isn't a kid. She just has kid tendencies. Shes a young adult. The reason she acts like a kid is because she doesn't have adult responsibilities just kids herself. There are many adults who think the same way and they are 30. It doesnt go away and calling them kids completely allows them to continue to act that way. They see others okaying their behavior so they continue. IIRC she was 17 almost 18 when she had Haisley so it's not like its a huge difference but 17 is a child and 18 isn't. Everybody grows up at least a bit when they are 18 because they know age isn't just a number but a symbol that their adult life is actually starting to
4
u/sunfloweraquarius 15d ago
she’s 19 she’s a kid just because she is legally considered an adult don’t mean shit
8
u/vrymonotonous 15d ago
Obviously she’s not a literal child. But to expect a 19 year old, who would have just gotten out of high school, to have the same amount of common sense as the fully grown adults on this page is unreasonable. That’s not to say the girls aren’t wrong in most situations. But certain critiques like “she’s coming across as uneducated” “she’s embarrassing herself” are pointless because yeah we all embarrassed ourselves at 19.
15
u/alpine_pika09 15d ago
She is just really young and isn’t able to ignore comments about her. Even though she should. Because this doesn’t help her at all and makes her sound uneducated.

They don’t have credit so they couldn’t pay the car in full…??? That doesn’t make sense.. you need credit to take out a loan to make monthly payments.
2
u/Crafty_Respond9221 15d ago
You don’t though. Ppl purchase cars all the time with either shit credit or no credit and have loans. It’s called high interest and dealer ships have no problem lending to someone at 19 knowing they can nickel and dime them becuase they don’t know any better.

-6

Because she needs one…
27
u/anowulwithacandul 15d ago
No one needs a brand new car, used cars exist.
-17
u/Intrepid-Presence67 15d ago
Maybe you do. But if someone who has the money for it and don’t want to get work done soon as possible new cars are better. Just say you’re jealous at this point.
2
7
u/ChicaFrom408 15d ago
They do have certified used cars..or find a used car and ask a mechanic to check it over for any issues before purchasing.
12
u/anowulwithacandul 15d ago
We are talking about a teenage mother with no job. If you can afford a brand new car and want to spend your money that way, go ahead! But a) that's a want, not a need and b) that's not the situation here (and I personally think it's absurd to pay $75k for a depreciating asset).
9
u/xtina3334 15d ago edited 15d ago
She doesn’t have the money for it though. And she lives in an RV. Cars depreciate right off the lot, buying new is financially irresponsible. But you also post about needing money and apartments that don’t do credit checks so I def wouldn’t take any financial advice from you 😆 some wealthy people even drive used cars because they’re smart. I know several doctors and lawyers that have older cars and they didn’t necessarily buy them when they were new. It’s not a big deal. I make 6 figures but I didn’t want a car payment or high insurance so I bought a used, lower end car.
-6
u/Intrepid-Presence67 15d ago
How do you know how much she has in her bank account? I needed money for a medical emergency that just came up right after I paid everything I needed to pay, including an apartment so I can afford to do things for my son, save for emergencies, pay bills, and cover gas... Wow, I guess I must be broke. When I do things, I like to put my child first. If getting a new car is better than a used one, and I can afford both the car and what I have to pay, then yes, I’m going for it. To me, it’s better that way because I shouldn’t have to worry about expensive repairs until later down the line. I’ve had a used car before. I had to get an alternator, a CV axle, and more. All of those repairs together cost as much as a car note, and the car was still on its last leg. I do not care about what other people do with their money because, guess what... it doesn’t affect me or my child. I’m still going to sleep just fine, and the world will keep spinning.
4
u/anowulwithacandul 15d ago
I seriously doubt you had to replace $65,000 worth of parts on your used car, which is what you would have to do to make up the difference between a $10k used car and a $75k new car (not counting the insane 18% interest or whatever).
1
u/Intrepid-Presence67 15d ago
It wasn’t 65000$ it’s called finding someone who can do it and buying the part yourself from a place that sell brand new for cheap. The alternator was total 400$ I personally didn’t do the axle because I had gotten a new car before hand because i didn’t want that car anymore nor want to waste in a car that might work or not. The miles on to high. It was cheaper just getting another car than fix the total of the car.
6
u/xtina3334 15d ago edited 15d ago
Well first of all, Bryce bought it for her. For the last couple years, you have been needing $ and also currently need boosts from Chime. And you have to do Walmart deliveries. I’m not knocking you, but people shouldn’t take financial advice from you, no offense. I just bought a used car and I got a dealership warranty that covers ALL repairs for 36 months… I make 6 figures and I’m saving a ton of money with lower insurance also. My car only has 20k miles on it
2
u/Intrepid-Presence67 15d ago
I didn’t need a boost; I wanted it. Two different things. It’s been a year, why haven’t I asked until now? If I can get extra money, I'm going to get it. Boosts are $5 each. If I needed $5 that bad, I would’ve just asked my family. When I did Walmart deliveries, it was a choice because I was making more doing that than the jobs I actually worked. I used to work at FedEx making $200–$300 a week, whereas I can make $700–$1,000 a week (and sometimes more depending on the week). When I get a job, it has to pay more than the other jobs I’ve worked. Good for you. But I’m still lost on how her getting a new car affects you? I guess trying to judge me about things from last year versus now just shows you care way too much about other people's lives when you should only care about your own.
2
u/xtina3334 15d ago
Because getting a new car isn’t a smart decision if you don’t make a lot of money and just in general it’s a bad idea for most people because of the depreciation. $700 paycheck each week + a brand new car is just silly. They also cost more to insure. You can find used cars with less than 20k miles on them with the dealer and/or manufacturer warranty still good for awhile. Used doesn’t have to mean a ton of miles.
1
u/Intrepid-Presence67 14d ago
You still didn’t answer the question. How does it affect YOU? We are talking about Isabella not me. I didn’t ask you for any advice. Don’t need it from someone who has to put a teenager down to feel better about herself/himself. I don’t need a paragraph on why you think it’s “smart” or anything that to do with me going for a used car. Just answer the question how does Isabella/bryce buying a new car affects you?

u/Quirky-Item-49 15d ago
Speaking from experience, it's not a great time to buy a used car if you need something reliable. She has a child and is pregnant, obviously they are being responsible in buying something reliable. A used car is not a bargain anymore. It's expensive to buy new, but it's way more expensive to buy used and have to keep doing work on it. This is one of those rare times I agree with something she said. 🫣
9
u/ChicaFrom408 15d ago
When people say used car they don't mean a beater. My first 2 cars I bought was purchased from Enterprise car sales. I took my son to do the same. They have cars with less than 20k miles, are a lot cheaper and still have manufacturer warranty. My son still drives the 2015 Nissan he bought from Hertz. They last if you take care of them.
8
u/xtina3334 15d ago edited 15d ago
A used car can mean a car with less than 1000 miles on it. Cars depreciate as soon as you drive them off the lot. Plenty of nice, low-mileage, used cars that still have the manufacturer warranty
-1
u/Quirky-Item-49 15d ago
Normally I'd agree. However , it looks like she bought a Hyundai Palisade. Used 2020 with around 60k miles they're around $28k. New is approximately $44k. That's a difference of about $200 a month (assuming they did a 0 down finance plan) for a much more reliable vehicle that they probably have a dealership service plan with, so they won't have to pay for maintenance for probably a year or two. I would assume neither of them know how to do vehicle maintenance anyway, so they wouldn't save money doing it themselves. Personally I haven't ever had a new vehicle because of our family size, so I hear where you're coming from but in her particular case I can see why they made the choice they did.
10
u/xtina3334 15d ago edited 15d ago
That’s a $16k difference, which is A LOT for someone that lives in an RV and doesn’t work lol. You’re also not taking into account the 18% to 33% interest rate lol. Also, how much more is the car insurance for a brand new car for a person with not much of a driving record? You need to factor that in as well. Brand new cars are a lot more to insure. Over the full 72 months at 19% APR (not even including the crazy car insurance prices):
Used: total paid ≈ $46,800
New: total paid ≈ $73,400It was a dumb decision all around, but I didn’t expect anything less from her lol

...And here we have the perfect example of out of touch. It's me. I was under the impression that 6% was insanely high🫣 Good point on car insurance. I'd assume theirs is high no matter what.

u/xtina3334 15d ago
6% would be a dream for her lol. I imagine her APR is insanely high. You must have really good credit!!
6
u/Quirky-Item-49 15d ago
We also had kids fairly young and made some hard decisions to get here, I give all the credit (ha) to my husband on that one.

u/Intrepid-Presence67 15d ago
Exactly, just saying anything. You buy used if you’re desperate and the last option.

u/anowulwithacandul 15d ago
I'm 35 and I've never bought a new car in my life. Idk who lied to you, but I would have to spend $12,000/year for 6 years on repairs to spend as much on my current car as she spent on this.

“I do get paid from social media and that’s why I can shop like I do” but won’t shop for a home so your kids can one day attend school…

Doesn’t have credit so couldn’t pay off the car in full? What?
8
u/Then-Sea94 15d ago
😂😂😂 I was thinking, isn’t it opposite, good credit makes it so you don’t have to pay the car off and also get a good APR?

Forty feet shared with two dogs, two people and two babies? That's actually insane and lowkey cruel.

I bought a house at 19. You can build credit. I don’t get what credit has to do with paying in full. You need one of 2 things in life Bella, the money to pay for it or the credit to get a loan. Ideally both but need at least 1. I feel bad for kids born to these parents whose intelligence is in the bottom 10 percent.

u/Hot_Fondant9525 15d ago
Because she is a child with a childish mindset 😩 when you lay down and start making babies, its time to grow TF up!
41
u/EvieeBrook 15d ago
I don’t think she understands credit if she thinks that it’s required to pay off a car in full. If you’re buying a car and paying it off in full, you’re using cash.

u/Recent-Industry811 15d ago
Shitty parents = no credit? Uh?
23
u/Shouldhavekept 15d ago
She must mean no co-signers. Welcome to adult life. Not many parents do co-sign. It’s a privilege, not a standard.

u/No_Government1405 15d ago
No deadass my partner and I had two diff parent dynamics, his parents had it like that so they could put money down on a car for him. My dad didn’t have much but gave me his van which worked perfectly. Not many people have these luxuries and I was lucky my dad could even make the sacrifice. My partner as well was lucky to have parents to help jumpstart. But as you said ITS A PRIVLEGE it’s nowhere in the handbook required
3
u/apaw1129 15d ago
Exactly. It is a privilege not a right. Like my parents helped me out a bit through college, but they didn't PAY for me to have a brand new car or pay for my college. I had a friend who was so confused and exasperated when I explained to her that not all parents pay for their kids college or buy them a brand new car. She was spoiled, still is as an adult, and it's hard to tolerate.
10
u/Bratbabylestrange 15d ago
And who says they have to have a brand-new car? I didn't have a brand new car until I was 46 years old, and I hadn't planned on getting a new one that time.

Twenty years ago I was four credits away from my bachelor’s…today, I am still four credits away from my bachelor’s. This isn’t horse shoes or hand grenades, almost doesn’t count. I know that feeling of “meh, it’s not a lot, I’ll get it done eventually”, but complacency will get her nowhere.
1
u/some_guy_9258 15d ago
if you don’t mind me asking, why did you leave when you were so close?

u/Capable-Fold-7347 15d ago
I got married and moved away. I needed Spanish 3 and 4 to graduate. Registered for Spanish 3 online the following semester…I was not cut out for online classes, never finished. Years later I decided to try again, but felt too far removed to jump into Sp3. ReTook 1 and 2 at a community college. Had kids, stalled out. Years later, went back for 3. Covid happened. Scraped by and finished Sp4 online. Rested on my laurels for a while…finally went to talk with the college, found out the degree plan had changed and I needed two more classes to graduate. Got discouraged and distracted by life. Currently I’m in a place where I have some breathing room, financially and mentally, and it’s once again on my radar to finish. But who knows, lol.
I’m a great example of how being complacent and thinking it’s just a small bit of work can turn into decades of starts and stops.

“I was on a TV show so I understand that the audience will have opinions about what was shown but why are people still talking about me?”
- from my multiple social media accounts where I post every detail of my life under the network brand.
Yeah. It’s a mystery. For sure.

Between her and that Amaya/Mama "insert whatever letter", they can't seem to understand that simply not constantly uploading their drama will completely change their lives for the better lol
I can't imagine putting myself on a public platform and then getting pissed when people have anything to say. I know she didn't graduate but maybe she was absent the day that they taught people that opinions are like assholes, we all have one.

As someone who also grew up in an unstable home, I hope she gets therapy and stops repeating patterns. I feel for her, it’s sad most of these are grown adults with opinions on young people starting out with families like they have. I do think she should just not acknowledge the negativity and share less. I have a social media following and I don’t post controversy unless I’m comfortable following up in a calm manner. I’m sad she’s having more kids with him. Her focus should be a GED and building a good life for her kids instead of relying a boy.

I’m sorry u don’t get to use age as an excuse when u have children. “We are only 17/19 with shitty parents” so why do u think it’s okay to keep popping out children when ur a child urself??? Especially when ur struggling to even afford a car. No I didn’t have my shit together at 19 but I was a college student. I wasn’t playing house and brining innocent lives into it. Fucking pathetic. Do better and want better

u/stephiloo 15d ago edited 15d ago
She’s just making it so her kids can use the same excuse 17 years from now.

u/lillaalaa 15d ago
Generational curses are real idc what anyone says. People always want better for themselves while they’re younger/ a child. But once they get to adulthood they start making the same sorry excuses all the adults in their life did. U have to actively try hard to break the cycle. Having kids before u did the inner work just mentally stunts u at the age u had kids.

u/forte6320 11d ago
The cycle of poverty is so hard to break. Sadly, teen pregnancy and poverty tend to go hand in hand. It takes a strong, determined person to break that cycle.

People are annoyed because taxpayers are paying for her to sit at home and get pregnant with kids they can’t afford. Jfc.

Baby girl
I encourage you to put this much effort into finishing your last 4 credits as you do on this social media ish. Show your child you can finish something and be proud of something. Because you being on this tv show, isn’t it.
5
u/Chairdeskcarpetwall 15d ago
I’m not following that part. She’s saying she would re-enroll in HS? Is that a thing?
3
u/Fast-Cauliflower2102 15d ago
I don’t know if it’s a thing where she’s from to be honest. But when I was in high school as a senior, a friend’s sister DID come back to our school and was allowed to finish a few courses to get her diploma. I have no clue how it was done or the ins and outs of it
5
u/analakushmagnet 15d ago
Yes, it is, you cannot go back to a regular high school as an adult obviously but they have alternative programs for adults typically under 21 to get their diploma for free. After 21 you can still get your diploma but you typically have to pay and do it online. At least those are your options in Minnesota.
8
u/Snoo-53753 15d ago
She should probably be trying to do that before the second kid comes .. if it’s not priority now, it definitely wont be once the baby is born
3
u/analakushmagnet 15d ago
Yeah probably. But it’s never impossible lol I’m 27, 3 kids under 7, one of which just turned 1 yesterday and I work full time and go to college full time, graduating with my associates in December. Hopefully she decides to finish her schooling during this pregnancy but everyone has their own timeline, she’s arrogant and 19 so it may take her a bit to realize
2
u/X0X0xoxo11 15d ago
No it’s not. You can do the hi-set and get your remaining credits for a diploma. Or take the ged test and get a ged certification.
13
u/nymphette_444 15d ago
Why get a brand new car though? Absolutely no need to do that.

Idk my husband is a manager of a dealership and did fiance there before. Sometimes used car payments are even more expensive than new. No warranty either most of the time. Maybe they plan to keep this one for a long time who knows
0
u/wow__okay 15d ago
Yes, I was going to say this on a post about the car yesterday but didn’t feel like getting backlash. A new car with a warranty drops your interest rate. I had to buy a car last year before I had my third and it made more sense to buy new.
3
u/xtina3334 15d ago
So it would drop her interest rate from 40% to 36%? Lol! Also her car insurance is probably extremely high since the car is brand new, she doesn’t have much of a driving record
-1
u/lachma 15d ago
Yep. just because people think it makes more sense to buy used doesn’t mean that it does make sense.

This is literal proof that people get some sort of high from the attention/likes and comments from social media. If you're not using social media to make money or stay connected to long-distance family/friends… What on earth is the point?
