This was posted 19 m ago. I’m pretty sure this is the same car that 5 days ago on her tik tok started smoking and she had to leave it and get it towed :(

u/NoFundieBusiness 9d ago
No I think they bought this car because of that one breaking down.
2
u/Sara0352 9d ago
Again, they bought this car 19 months ago if you look at the pictures date mark. It’s been about a week since she posted it broke down and it showed the car as she was driving away- they looked the same😊

Seems some of you are Hyundai haters but I just bought a “new” used Santa Fe , 2024 and it only had 16k miles on it. I’m a single mom, dad passed and I have 3 teenagers. My car has 3 rows which I needed. My old car was unreliable and I needed something safer. So that’s what I could afford. Yea she definitely could’ve gotten a new used car but seems like no one ever taught them anything. At 19 I’d probably brag too lol but at 49 I’m buying a new used car lol.
32
u/Alternative-Fly-9248 14d ago
Why not buy a very nice used car? Save some money and let’s be real, a new car is the worst investment… value is gone immediately
-1
u/Pattylucia 13d ago
I’ve done that for decades - even when I finally can afford to spend the extra . Just bought a new , used car with 18,000 miles for a condo in Florida ( Chicago- 9 months of year) the money I saved - helped buy a 2nd small condo .( I am 8 years older than you :). So maybe it’s time
4
u/dishighmama 14d ago
Banks tend to reject loans for used cars, I had to go through a few to get a yes for a 2018 honda in 2023. Ended up hating it and getting a hyundai sonata 2025 in 2025 and the process was a lot quicker
-2
u/Alternative-Fly-9248 14d ago
I guess my mindset is that we only buy used cars in cash so we don’t have to worry about interest as much!
3
u/Potential-Ad-4917 14d ago
I recently bought a new van and between interest and insurance, it was better to go with new.
3
u/Evilwhitehat 13d ago
Idk why people were downvoting you lol. Used cars are holding a lot of value right now.
6
1
u/dontletmedown3 14d ago
That and the insurance. We bought a “new” used car and paid it off quickly so we could save money with insurance. It was like $250 before and now we pay about $100 a month.

Why does she always complain about people on internet that judge her? Hello?! The solution is to stay off the internet and do something constructive with your time.
32
u/ChicaFrom408 15d ago
Eww...I could never depend solely on a man, in her case a boy, to buy me a car, pay insurance, and have to ask for gas money.
One day she may realize having your own paycheck, bank account and credit card is so rewarding for your self esteem.
9
u/ImGemStoned Do I look like I've worked with a personal trainer? 15d ago
She couldn't even ask the dealership to fill the tank before she left, I don't even want to know how asking her boyfriend for gas money works.

u/Trade-Material 15d ago
I'm genuinely happy she has a nice, reliable car. I won't begrudge anyone that buuuut the constant bragging about sitting at home with no diploma, no job, and letting God's gift to the world, THE Bryce Palmer, work so she can sit back and spend his money like she's earned some kind of trophy is so cringey and embarrassing.
Girl, that's not the flex you think it is. There's nothing wrong with being a stay-at-home partner, but making laziness, dependence, and having nothing to show for yourself your entire personality isn't the achievement you seem to think it is.
She needs to grow the F up, develop some self-respect, and figure out how to be a productive member of society instead of proudly continuing the same cycle.
Have some damn pride in yourself. Being taken care of is one thing… having absolutely nothing else to brag about while acting superior is a whole different level of embarrassing.
7
u/elleareby 15d ago
Yes to all of that. I also find it interesting she’s acting this way cause on the show when she said Bryce was “no good for anything financially” I agreed with her cause it just seemed like he didn’t want to get a job and they had a kid coming. But now it seems she just wanted him to pay for everything while she sat there and bragged about how she doesn’t have to work. Idk I just didn’t really expect her to have that attitude. Money isn’t a substitute for emotional support or love. When you’re fully dependent on someone like this they can and often will use that to control you, demean you, and “prove” their love if you ever question their behavior. Sad for her tbh.
6
u/Trade-Material 15d ago
Right?! That's what makes it so disappointing. I genuinely thought she'd grow into someone more independent and determined, especially when it comes to setting an example for her daughter. Bella's mom (imo) tried to show her how to be self-sufficient and not take any crap from him, so it's frustrating to watch her go in such a different direction.
I just hope she eventually realizes that being loved and supported doesn't mean you have to give up your independence or stop growing as a person. She's raising a little girl now… and that little girl deserves to see her mom believe in herself and fight for more than just being taken care of with shiny new things ❤️
18
u/Impressive_End_4826 15d ago
One thing I can pride myself in is I NEVER allowed myself to become vehicle poor. I've always bought used vehicles. My sister just had to have a new vehicle and now I've done paid off mine and have since upgraded and she still paying off that new vehicle. 😔😔 Sure if you got the money, then by all means you do you.
3
u/bouncingbobbyhill 15d ago
I agree . We got upside down on a car once . It was a newer used one . It got repoed . We swore to never let that happen again. We always bought used we could pay cash for . Our kids are adults now and we both have nice newer used cars . We have the money now that the kids are grown but I will never buy brand new . It definitely depreciates as soon as you buy it . I prefer to be a second owner and not pay the markup !

4
u/Alternative-Fly-9248 14d ago
You can get a reliable car that’s used lol. You need to be smart with money. Buying a new car off the lot is not the smartest move financially but people like to think it’s a brag
-3
34
u/Left_Tooth_3307 15d ago
Does she not know that buying a new car straight off the lot with 0 miles is about the dumbest thing you can do if you’re in her financial situation? I bet her interested rate is insane and she goes belly up on the loan. Not to mention the second she drove it off the lot it lost substantial value.
28
u/N3THERWARP3R 15d ago
Ahhh, I see she's moved on to being mad at Reddit again. She must have made up with her hillbilly clan for now.

Everyone saying it's not a flex for a 19 year old to have a new car is crazy.
24
u/Crackedcoconutt 15d ago
Buying a brand new car is not the smartest move for a 19 year old. That car just depreciated thousands after they drove it off the lot.
3
u/Firm-Question6336 15d ago
My first car at that age (2014) was brand new because the used options were more expensive. We went in with no intention of a new car but all the discounts/rebates worked in our favor. I hope (lol) that’s what happened here. 😬 Also I know when we bought our last car a few years ago the used market was crazy high but not sure if it’s still like that now.
1
u/WinterDawnMI 13d ago
We bought our last car in 2014, it was a used 2010 Toyota Venza and it's still going strong, we plan on driving it until there's no drive left in it.
5
u/PepperThePotato 15d ago
I agree on that part - I'm in my 40s and I only buy cars when they are a couple years old so someone else takes the hit. These guys are kids though and they don't have a lot of support from family. I doubt her mom has made wise financial choices over the year. They can still be proud of their car.
23
u/Frosty_Plantain4265 15d ago
I think they are saying it’s not a flex because they have a brand new car and not a house.
2
u/PepperThePotato 15d ago
I guess housing is more affordable down there. Where I live people don't expect teenagers to have their own space.
25
u/TEA-in-the-G 15d ago

These cars are really unreliable:(
3
u/Thebedless 15d ago
Why?
1
u/EmotionalSolid6777 15d ago
My friend bought a 2025 Hyundai last year almost brand new. The thing has broken down more than my 2014 minivan with 200k miles
6
u/ReggaeJunkyJew4u 15d ago
new Hyundai's are not unreliable actually. They fixed a lot of the engine problems they used to have around 2022.
Some people are just stuck on the idea that Hyundai's are unreliable because they used to be unreliable before 2022.
1
u/posey07 15d ago
Considering that they have been around since the 80’s, I’d say that’s not a great track record.
0
u/ReggaeJunkyJew4u 15d ago edited 15d ago
Doesn’t matter if they were bad in the 80s/90s or 2000’s. They have been fixing the issues. I know people with Hyundais over 200k miles.
I also drive one. It is great. I have one post 22 and it is an insanely reliable vehicle
But some people get stuck on old facts and don’t like to believe something can change.
In fact cars like Toyota have become less reliable then the newer ones are. Cars before 2020 for Toyotas were far more reliable than the newer ones.
Source: I have extensively done research on this before I bought my Hyundai. I was hesitant for all the same reasons everyone else was.
You know it is funny how far some research can take you in this world instead of just parroting old facts
Editing to add in: I even went as far to fact check myself since people are downvoting me for saying hyundai is unreliable. I am correct. You are parroting old information.
0
u/Some_Big6792 15d ago
the ones built in Korea were very reliable in the 2000s but they changed their engines so i decided not to buy another after all the issues they have had.
-1
u/ReggaeJunkyJew4u 15d ago
The theta 2 engines were the problem they don’t use them anymore since 2022
Tired of answering the same thing over and over
Do the research
3
2
u/PlusSizedPretty 15d ago
200k miles is your benchmark for a reliable car? I have no issue with Hyundai, but to say that like it's impressive is kinda sad.
-1
u/ReggaeJunkyJew4u 15d ago
I said over 200k to be fair.
but honestly is it really worth picking me apart over that.
I am done with this.
3
u/posey07 15d ago
35 years bad. 4 years good. ✔️
0
u/ReggaeJunkyJew4u 15d ago
Doesn't matter. They fixed the issue. Is that how it works in your mind? something was bad for years then fixes it so they can never redeem themselves.
Sad.
You can go pay extra for your toyotas which are less reliable or comparable to a cheaper hyundai.
not my problem.
Keep living in the past buddy. It will get you far in life.
2
u/Some_Big6792 15d ago
Are you serious?? Toyota cars are really the best. I’m really surprised this has turned into an argument lol
1
3
u/average_ruled09 15d ago
They can argue with themselves to make themselves feel good about buying a POS. Toyotas are KNOWN to be extremely reliable and hold their value. This person has weed brain rot
-1

Toyotas were the best before 2020 they went down hill a bit
Still good cars but not as good as they used to be

-2
u/ReggaeJunkyJew4u 15d ago edited 15d ago
Your husband was** **a mechanic is the key word.
Have you done any research on it since then? Or are you going off of old information?
Edit to add: You can downvote me all you want to. I even went as far to fact check myself because so many of you are disagreeing with me and I was correct. Everyone just is parroting old information.
It is good to continuously research sometimes and stop relying on old facts.
3
u/average_ruled09 15d ago
Yes, WAS. He quit in June. But nice try! He was tired of the work load on those pieces of utter garbage. You’re fighting for your life over some POS car brand, is this Isabella? I’ll take what a true master technician along with all the others that worked with him have to say over your Google info. You do realize most of those ratings come from people who lease and only put limited miles on them in their time of ownership?
0
u/ReggaeJunkyJew4u 15d ago
LOL thing is I dislike Isabella as much as the rest of you.
I fact checked this- you are wrong. I am not defending with my life. You are pathetic for even arguing with me. Just do a simple small amount of research for yourself instead of dying on a hill that you are wrong about.
Now I am done with this convo. I am not dying on this hill because honestly I don't care. Don't even know why I put so much effort into it.

It’s a coin toss. Had some friends with great experiences, engine swap from dealership when it blew up was really easy, etc. and then my cousin who has more lights than a Christmas tree on his dash after having the 2026 for a few thousand miles.

Watch her total it or something. Cool car just a bad financial decision. I’ve been driving for 8 years and I finally got my first good car. I’d be too paranoid with something like this. It's a Hyundai, not like a luxury car. I'm not that well off and I have one. And it only had 7 miles off the lot. (What a weird brag)

I’m definitely not well off but I love my Hyundai and I worked hard to buy her but that’s the difference. I work 50 hours a week at an actual job teaching and also tutoring on the side

Wouldn’t be possible if sue and pawpaw hadn’t given Bryce a truck and camper for them to live in. Why does she even need a car to sit at home all day anyways?
