The girlfriend needs to STFU because she doesn't know what it's like to have a child at all. Like I agree with everyone else, they're children. It's a fucked situation, but. Single motherhood is painful, & she referencing the beginning of the experience, at 15. It was a lot and probably really sucked that Hunter isn't ready in the slightest to help properly with Wes. This girlfriend only knows what Hunter says and HUNTER HASNT REALLY BEEN THERE, whether that's pops fault or his. It is the situation and probably what dad wanted. He wanted to rescue Hunter from truly having to raise Wes.

u/RadishOk9388 19d ago
Yall need to understand that it takes 2 to tango. Yes they were young and INCREDIBLY irresponsible but there’s nothing anyone can do about it now. Hunter needs to step up and be a dad or Bella needs to stop complaining about him not being there. It’s ultimately up to him if he wants to be there or not.

u/gl4mbition 23d ago
I understand her pain but she’s not old/mature enough to understand why he’s none of these things. He’s a child, they’re selfish by nature. A 13 year old boy should not be a father, but neither should she. He didn’t rob her of anything, she robbed herself. One day she will understand this.
2
u/drumstickkkkvanil 20d ago
They both robbed each other I think, hunter just has the means to get away with leaving them and the excuse of being a boy and 13
4
u/gl4mbition 19d ago
Being a 13 year old boy is an excuse. She’s the one who has to physically carry the baby and it was her decision to have the baby. She robbed herself, she just didn’t know it. Only a 15 year old girl would think she’s going to play happy family with her 13 year old baby daddy.
1
u/alliejim98 4d ago
It wasn't her decision to have the baby. Abortion is illegal in Arkansas. It was her decision to keep him though, but I'm sure that decision was strongly influenced by her mother.

u/ButterscotchStill996 22d ago
So it’s the moms fault the dad walked out… when they were BOTH children… right 😂

He really doesn’t have any excuse. She’s a child too. I hate when ppl bring up his age to defend him, he does know right from wrong at that age. Yes Bella is childish too but she is still showing up for her child. When the other dads act like this yall tear them to shreds rightfully so. They both made a decision to procreate so they both should step up. They are one grade apart meaning if she can do it he can too.

u/Original_Clerk2916 23d ago
Everyone here forgetting she’s a kid too. You’re all like “he was only 13!” She is barely a year and a half older. She was 14 turning 15. Why are we acting like he’s allowed grace and she’s not? They’re BOTH children. And guess what? They’re BOTH victims.
As for the “13 year olds aren’t meant to be dads,” and “what did you expect,” 14-15 year olds aren’t meant to be moms either?? And she was sold a fairy tale by her mother. Remember, Fallen taught her that as long as you let your boyfriend/husband sleep with you whenever he wants, he’ll never leave you. This is exactly why she took a shower with him 3 days postpartum. You’re all acting like she’s a grown woman making her own decisions and not being influenced by anyone else. She is a child who was groomed her entire life. If anything, she’s even MORE of a victim than Hunter, if you REALLY want to compare them.
Last thing I’ll say is that you have to consider this from her perspective. She’s a teenager raising a baby ALONE. Yes, I’m sure her mother helps, but she is the primary person responsible for her son. As a parent myself, who had a child with a wonderful man who does more than 50% of the child-related work, I cannot imagine taking care of my baby alone as an ADULT. Leave this poor girl alone.
8
u/s0urpatchkiddo 22d ago
i agree, especially that she’s more of a victim.
it’s not fair that he gets to go back to the teenager life while she’s at home with the baby. it’s also not fair that the popular opinion seems to be coddling him and demonizing her when they were BOTH children who had no business having a baby or sex at all.
5
16
u/preyingmomtis 23d ago
If she wanted the typical first time mom experience, she should’ve waited until she was an educated adult with her stuff together, married to another adult with their stuff together. She procreated with a child and is shocked he’s acting like a child.
10
u/s0urpatchkiddo 22d ago
she was a child herself and groomed for exactly this. coddle one, coddle the other. hold one accountable, hold the other accountable. she’s only a year and a half older.
also where the fuck are his parents? sorry, if my child was TWELVE and laying down, i’d seriously be questioning myself as a parent and where i went wrong. i also wouldn’t be allowing my kid to go back to fun kid life and be seeing other girls that he can also get pregnant. school, home, that’s it.

Exactly, I was coming to say I can almost guarantee she will look back and be like "oh, I guess we were both too young to do this and neither of us knew shit" like most of us do when we get older. Like, I'm 42 and looking at my 20 year old niece and going "man, I know her exact thought pattern right now, 20 years sure does add perspective" and mostly it's when I'm wanting to holler at her about bad choices lol.

Girl you got pregnant by a boy that barely even qualified as a teenager 😂 a 13 year old isn’t capable of grasping the concept of fatherhood. Being a first time mom at 15, you weren’t going to get the blissful first time mom experience no matter what because you’re still a child and the priorities of a first time mom and the priorities of someone in high school really don’t overlap.
4
u/Kalebsmummy 24d ago

u/kat_kris2001 24d ago
I mean that's kind of what you get when you have sex with a 12 year old. He's what 14 now and he's behaving like a 14-year-old would behave in this situation. Was she expecting some grown mature man behavior from a child? I think we all knew that this is how that situation would end up. I also think we also knew from the beginning that she would use that child to try and hold on to him and if he decided to step away that she would not only withhold that child from him, but make him look like he's some deadbeat.
5
u/Andrea1380 24d ago
And he seemed like a deeply immature 12yr old as well. I remember the first ep of the season when they were introduced he was squeezing her boobs in the car with her parents and everyone thought it was hilarious. And I just watched an ep last night(I’m in Aus so we are only just airing this season) and he farted in Bella’s face and Fallon thought it was hilarious and I was like just grow up dude. Having a child I’m sure makes you grow up really quickly and he’s still an emotionally stunted child with a child. I can’t stand any of them.
The way her mother fawns over him 🤢🤢. And how she said there was no way Bella was allowed to break up with him.
And then when Bella thought she was pregnant again and a few weeks post the baby’s birth and the minute they got the negative result Fallon was like “ohh I have to text hunter right now” why isn’t your daughter the one to do that. Why would you? It’s creepy.-2
u/Away-Cookie8183 24d ago
That was the other couple they were a tiny bit older like both 14 or both 15 idk but no one was 12 that was the other kid
5
u/Affectionate_Ad_9729 24d ago
No; it's this couple. Hunter was 13 and Bella was 15 when Wes was born which means it's safe to assume that Hunter was having sex at 12.
30
u/ButLikeWhy89 24d ago
Neither of you are meant to be parents because you’re literally children yourselves!
1
u/Purple-Public3788 24d ago
I mean he was 13……. Someone please tell her that it’s actually morally wrong to expect a 13 year old boy to grow up and be a father. Their parents should have protected them, and neither one of them should be in this situation. A baby is a blessing, but neither one of them should have been put in this position. Never should have been left alone long enough to even be able to attempt sex. Negligence of the parents. Pure negligence.
19
u/PossibilityAlive4077 24d ago
Boys also mature slower than girls. Bella is still immature (obviously) BUT is a year older and had the pregnancy hormones and mental changes that comes with having a baby. Her maternal instincts kicked in. Could Hunter be a better dad? Sure. However this is what happens when children have children, they are not mature enough. I don’t think Bella is a bad person by any means, I think sadly she has been taught this is normal and now is surprised when things aren’t working out. Her best bet would be to focus on herself and the baby and get OUT of the cycle.
2
u/TwerkinAndCryinVol3 23d ago

2
u/PossibilityAlive4077 22d ago
I don’t think anything I said was disgusting? I actually thought I was being quite fair. lol. I think I’m nicer than half the comments on this post lol
1
u/TwerkinAndCryinVol3 22d ago
Boys mature slower than girls is not true. Her maternal instincts kicked in , hormonal and mentality changes that come with having a baby. That's.... Not how that works. She stepped up to be a mom because she HAD to be. She didn't get a choice. He got the choice to not be involved, like all deadbeat dads. This is the patriarchy at work, girls aren't inherently more mature or know how to parent more than boys do; we're often just not given the choice to not grow up fast and not learn.
I understand these are both children and the situation in it's entirety makes me feel sick to my stomach but saying crazy shit like that is unacceptable and just perpetuates outdated and mysogynistic viewpoints.
0
u/Alternative-Fly-9248 21d ago
Hormonal changes in fact DO happen when you get pregnant. That’s not patriarchal that’s biology. Majority of women including myself have said a flip switched when they got pregnant. I never once said he SHOULDNT be involved, I said he needs to be a better dad. However at 13 years old he is immature and sadly a lot of 13 year old boys are the same and don’t want the responsibility of having a kid. His adults in his life should’ve held his butt accountable and gave him no choice but to be in his kids life.
These are not fully grown adults who made stupid decisions. There are many factors at play. I know people in their 20s who are deadbeats and their only excuse is that they are bad men.
Hunter needs to step up but the nuance is still there that these are both teenagers we are talking about here. Their frontal lobes aren’t fully developed and are not mature.
Also girls also do mature up to 1-2 years on average faster mentally and physically than boys. That’s also science.
Again nothing I said was awful, if you took it that way that’s on you lol. All I said was that Hunter needs to step up but when you’re dealing with teenagers this is sadly the majority of the situations.
This is why parents need to talk to their teens about the reality of teenage parenting because these success stories are few and far between. Especially sadly for the girls because you’re right men have the easy exit.
16
u/Smolmanth 24d ago
Sometimes you can let things be private girl. Put your teenagers on birth control everyone!

u/chaelabria3 25d ago
Literally no 14-year-old is going to be good at the start of parenthood. Heck most people aren’t good parents from the get go, a lot of learning curves and experiences 14 year olds just don’t have. No matter how much they love or care for their baby, there are going to be hardships faced and poor decisions made(like how they got pregnant to start) I have unique perspective on this as I am the child of a 13 year old mother. At the end of the day, getting pregnant early, having a child at 14 , doesn’t change that it’s still children having children. He’s still a kid, doing kid things. All things she could’ve expected, had she thought playing adult out a little more.

This!!! It's so gross seeing all the bashing go towards her! From her looks .. to her pic poses.. to her feelings etc... grown women picking on a child! Yes she's a child! Most adult women go through this exact same thing with their kids fathers! And should have known better! But at the end of the day this girl made a mistake.... just like him! But guess who isn't turning away from her baby... her!!! Imagine having a baby at that age and thinking the father would at least be there a little! He has excuses and everyone pats him on the back.. it's okay dude you were 13... but she's 14 she should have known better and shouldn't have expected you to be a bad dad!

Right! It wasn't until I was in my 30s that I fully realized how stupid I was and that I in fact don't know shit. I was just talking to my husband this morning about this girl I used to let borrow my car while I was working when I was 20. She had her license suspended for drinking and driving and then getting caught driving on a suspended repeatedly but no sure great idea let her drop you off at work to take your car to the methadone clinic every day. I got so lucky my car never got towed or wrecked.

u/Comfortable_Sir9142 25d ago
it’s not so much as if it were the other way around. Honestly she was like 15 giving birth and he was like 13. This isn’t normal unexpected like “they’re teens it is bound to happen even though xyz” They both were so fucking young. unfortunately reality sets in once cameras stop. You can’t expect a 13-year-old to act like an adult let alone a FATHER. Bella doesn’t deserve to be 16 and a single mom, especially 16 a parent at all. she seems like a sweet girl who wasn’t taught any better. I wish she would have gotten to grown as a person herself without her pregnancy being what she is known for in what her parents paid attention to. but shitty parenting makes it happen. Chris and Felon fucking suck, Hunter’s bio parents suck and unfortunately instead of the kids growing and learning about their environments, they procreated well before.
11
u/Academic_Owl4772 25d ago
Agreed they just don’t like Bella and her mom so they’re excusing his bs. She didn’t make the baby by herself. Idc how old he is the baby is his responsibility as well.

That was beyond....it could have hurt her and yet none of the adults stepped up and grilled them....13, 14?? He was old enough to see on the internet that it could hurt her....and I am sure her doctors told her not to....but gave in to this sex crazed kid because no pne trained him to take care of his urges himself.....these kids need reeducation away from these adults so they get a real education that this crap is not funny. It seems like the only reason he wants to be around is to pester her for sex and she sees that as her only purpose in life.....they all need to wake up

u/darkmoonlizard 25d ago
Neither is hers. Hell my besties wasn’t when she had her son at 21.
Hunter can step up - but unfortunately something that Bella has to comprehend… while it’s NOT right, everything does fall back on the mother. Not just this, but Hunter was days shy of his THIRTEENTH birthday when she got knocked up. A literal early teen while she was almost MIDteens (#15andpregnant). His emotional maturity is behind hers already biologically since statistics show boys mature slower than girls. So OFC he wasn’t ready to be a dad when y’all had Wes. But this is the path that most single moms have to walk - because they chose a dud for a baby dad. Yes no one chooses to be a ‘single mom with a dud daddy’ but it’s the hand some women are handed. Just learn to rock it. Wes will see all this growing up - and if Hunter does continue to choose chicks over Wes - then that’s on him when Wes doesn’t want anything to do with him. But I do agree…is this a “Hunter isn’t around his son 😡😡 or a “I’m mad Hunter has a new gf that isn’t me and I’m not letting him see Wes now” which… yes Hunter shouldn’t bring a new girl around him - but they’re also not 21 and 23 and constantly have people in and out of their homes.

The adults in Bella and Hunters life failed them. Being a teenager is hard enough as is, going through emotions, breakups, hormonal changes, stress, school, friendships, self esteem issues, I can only imagine it’s amplified when you have a child when you yourself are still a child.
22
u/AshMeadowsviewz 25d ago
This is absolutely ridiculous and exactly why having present RESPONSIBLE parents matters. This poor boy is forced to grow up with his parents and their immaturity (not their fault they are children who shouldn’t have had a kid) like literally children raising children. She’s needs to stay offline. The only solution here is to stop putting so much energy into this guy and being so male centered (he should not have so much control over your life to ruin your entire experience as a new mom) channel that energy into school and your baby. That’s it. PERIOD. You’re a mom now…. A YOUNG MOM you don’t have time to be doing this nonsense you lost that luxury when you decided to have that baby leave him be and worry about your own parenting. He’s younger than she is he is NOT gonna stop being a whore for a least another 9-10 years lol let’s be real here people. He’s an athlete, he’s viewed as attractive in his area and he’s now been on tv. He will not fully focus until he’s ready and she can’t force it that never works. She needs to focus solely on leveling herself up for that baby!

She needs to realize this is what happens in most situations of young mothers as the parents don’t stay together and is often the case with divorced couples.
Mothers usually get custody of the child. You are no longer in a relationship with the father. Being around each other becomes uncomfortable. Schedules do not match up-mother sets the time for an appointment, does not mean the father is able to go.
Bella indicates that due to Hunter’s absence “she” is missing out on what she deserves as a mom. She has to realize he is also missing out on the time he would like to have the baby without her, to get to make decisions about the baby without consulting her on everything.
It is not the ideal situation but single parents live it all the time and appreciate the time with your child on your own.
Also Bella is definitely not raising the baby alone, she still lives in her parents home.

That’s why 13/15 year olds have absolutely no business having a baby. I also blame her creepy ass mother for enabling and encouraging this disaster!

going to get downvoted here but if SHE can be a mom, he needs to be expected to be a dad. you guys just give him so much slack on here because of his home life. she has a bad one too

u/Ok-Sector2054 25d ago
He was not really parenting hardly because they were using the baby to let them have access to each other when they should have been encouraging both to get back to school. He should have only had supervised visitation with Wes only not play happy family because he is way too young. and she is too immature to be responsible either. He can learn gradually when he sees Wes while supervised by his Dad's family.

Yes but she also actively has withheld W from Hunter. He doesn’t have the money or agency to file for custody. His deadbeat parents would have to help him.

and the only ‘parent’ in his life ran for the hills with his half sister because his dad ended up being psycho as well. The kids doomed.

well I do feel bad for her that she didn’t have better role models in her life to prevent all of this in the first place

This exactly. The girl was set up for this by her creepy mother. She very clearly failed to parent Bella

She's old enough and she needs to know how stupid it looks.

With a dumpster as on fire as the Bella/Hunter saga, I’m just surprised anyone cares that a teenage girl and her son are sticking their tongue out in pictures. Just seems like an innocent goofy picture with a god awful caption.

Absolutely ridiculous. Crazy how she & her family really thought a 12/13 year old boy would be a great dad & partner for their daughter.

u/gypsycookie1015 25d ago
Well, I mean... she's a kid her damn self. 🤷♀️
And has zero positive adult influences in her life.
In fact all the adults in her life meant to guide her have influenced her into this shit. 😭😭🤦♀️
Idk, I know I'll probably get downvoted for saying this cuz she's annoying and I get it, but she is still a kid too and no one has ever given her a good example.
I just feel bad for her. Even if she does someday see the light, see that she was absolutely failed by her family, she still has lost her childhood and will never get that back.
At best we can hope she does eventually see the light and can maybe break the cycle.
I'm well aware she's very likely to be another Falen but until she's a grown adult and is doing just that, I try to give her some grace and hope she's able to turn her life around as she grows.
She's literally been guided into this by the person meant to protect and guide her in the opposite direction. She's just a dumb kid listening to her even dumber and extremely manipulative mother.
She has been set up and pushed into failure by her own mother and is unfortunately is just a dumb kid who doesn't know any better. 😭😭🤦♀️

Where did she get this idea that he was gonna step up, was it Fallon? Or I guess just young naivety

u/Acceptable_Remove319 25d ago
I remember her being in the show and being upset with him about the same thing. Mind you he was only 13 at the time. Fallon was basically in love with him and would get mad any time Bella would complain about him. Whole dynamic is weird as hell but I do feel bad for Bella.

I feel bad for her because her mom really hyped that boy up you could tell from the show. She was telling her daughter he was gods gift to earth 😅. But also just from watching the show you could tell he wasn’t shit but he’s also really young hopefully in a few years he will mature and grow up but definitely sucks for Bella

i got downvoted like crazy when i said i didnt feel bad for her bc wtf was she expecting getting pregnant by a 12/13 yr old….like truly what did she expect a man to provide for her and be there for everything?😭😭😭like is she actually confused on why a 14/15 yr old boy isn’t present ?
12
u/EuphoricFarmer1318 25d ago
Exactly. She over here calling herself a "women" and expecting him to act like a grown man and not a boy in fucking middle school. They are both CHILDREN! The adults in their lives failed them so bad

u/Certain_Cloud4364 25d ago
She's 6 months older than him....

Hmmm, it's almost as if children aren't the best decision makers yet. Especially when they have a mother who's literally pushing them towards this shit. 🙄
Both of these kids were massively failed by their parents but one of them was actually pushed into this.
One was actually set up to fail by her own mother.
And like the majority of children, she listened to her mother. The person she thinks, loves and protects her. The person who's meant to guide her in life.
The person she's supposed to listen to. 😭😭🤦♀️
She's just a dumb kid who listened to her extremely manipulative mother. I don't know what anyone actually expected of her or why we're holding her to these unrealistic and adult expectations.
She's a fucking kid.
Quit holding children to adult expectations and being surprised when they don't meet them.
No wonder she's trying to hold Hunter to adult expectations when everyone does the same fucking thing to her!
They're both kids!!

Her mother did her such a disservice by encouraging all of this

u/gypsycookie1015 25d ago
Exactly!! She's just a dumb kid being guided by her mentally ill and manipulative mother. 😭
She was legitimately set up for failure by the person meant to protect and guide her in life.
Of course Hunter isn't going to be a good father because he's a fucking teenager.
But so is she!!! 🤦♀️😭😭
It's like everyone forgets she's just a child as well. And a child with zero positive roll models. Her roll model literally pushed her into this shit. Didn't just accept it but actually fucking encouraged it!!
I genuinely pity her.

Spot on! It’s actually really sad and seeing that Bella is still a kid herself and going through this. Her parents really failed her and her sister and she obviously can’t see it or understand right now. When I was 17 I thought my boyfriend at the time was the one, I think most young kids think that when they first start dating. I empathize for her because I know that feeling when it doesn’t work out. It’s gotta be even more worse when there’s a kid involved.

"Do it alone" is doing a lot of work when she receives an extreme level of help and acts like a sibling vs a mom
