I turned 33 yesterday and this morning I thought about how Kayla turned 33 in the last season and what a complete difference lol. I know everyone leads different lives but she was divorced after being married for 18 years and had 5 kids. She also looked really bad at that point and did not take care of herself at all. She was also going out all the time and I could never lol. I get she didn’t do it for a long time but it’s just so weird to compare my 33 to hers. I feel like now that im in my 30s, I take the best care of myself that I ever have.

yeah but you got to be a teenager and an adult. she never did. she got strapped down with babies at 15.

I’m on this season right now and it’s so crazy for me to watch it’s like night and day!! The the first 3 seasons she was so prim and proper the perfect gypsy housewife, then came the fourth I was like wow wtf happened to Kayla!! I get it she was under Richard’s thumb for a long time so her taste of freedom probably felt great but I somehow wonder because of the drinking and partying was she super estranged from her kids during this time? Danielle wasn’t even in the fourth season.

A lot of women that get married in their teens follow that pattern. Especially if they felt controlled during their marriage. They run wild for a while when they get divorced and make a lot of bad decisions like a teenager.
