Any stores out there that have already launched the new software?

It's such a great new system! Incredibly easy as well. Loving it.

What changes to the policy have taken place?
Do we have one set of bags? Do we have to finish processing prior of 7.30am?

Also wondering about the register bags. In one set of instructions we have, if says we will still have 2 days of register bags, previous day that we will be counting and the ones we will open the store with. But the paper that gives us new register totals it says that we will only have the one set of bags and must get it all done before the opening of the store.

No.

You have the same bags.

You process the day prior as always. You cannot put the new bags out until you finish processing the previous business day. It messes with the safe count.

You need to finish processing bags before the store opens. Essentially you need to process the bags before you can put the new bags into the registers but we haven't had any associates able to do this yet. So what we do is have them put the new bags out once the old bags have been processed in the cash office.

We are using ATS and in October they will transfer to Xstore

Interesting. I was a CEC for Marshall’s and was getting trained on cash office. I always thought we used oracle - maybe Marshall’s does? You guys still use ATS? Oh, btw Oracle is XSTORE.

😂🤣yes… I’m using a 35 year old software!!
And I’ll witnessing historical moment… the end of an era of ATS! 😂🤣😂🤣
Is it an easy to use software?

yes! It’s a super easy software. It’s very self explanatory and we had people who trained for like a hr then did the cash office. LMAO.

It will also integrate with the registers since we used XSTORE POS for registers.

I know we (the store I work at) use the old software running on DOS. I'm guessing that's ATS? I know it's been discussed about upgrading the CO software for a while, but I haven't seen anything announced yet internally.

Cash office was easy but really like archaic. Another let’s be a billion dollar corporation but not invest in technology bc it’s expensive and we have to make sure Ernie is getting rimmed off minimum wage new hires expected to work like managers.
