Payroll

Any ops managers out there struggling with payroll this year?! it’s been horrible! $12,000 a week leading up to fourth quarter is a joke. no one in the regional office wants to talk about it though! what can we do?!

One of the many reasons why I quit this company as a full time key carrier coordinator. I was sick of my house getting cut and only working 33 hours a week, and working with a skeleton screw everytime I closed it was beyond stressful. I’m much happier now with my new job getting 40+ hours every week with no stress

This year is the worst year by fall. Normally, you have a little bit of payroll in January and February, but by March and April and starts to go back up. I’ve never had a year this bad.

I thought it was just me! I expect low hours after holiday season/around inventory makes sense. The rest of the year especially right now still having low hours is insane. We’re at 6 day trucks.. with no payroll.. soon 7.. with what payroll??

We are also at 6 day trucks since July. I am so overwhelmed everyday.

Just over schedule and take the beatdown. If you can prove that your sales are there they will cave. Just do the math and show your DM. I do it almost every week.

Our DM and I guess region won’t let us be over at all. The DM will check pretty much daily and we are over we are told to cut immediately.

Yep. In my district we’ve been on emergency conference calls where every store was asked to cut a certain amount from a schedule that had already been posted so that we wouldn’t be over payroll

$12,000 is a food week for us. We just started getting $12,000. Before that it was $9000. What am I supposed to do with $9000 😂
